Mickey Ice cream bar experts.....

Okay, so we had a 10 month interval between visits and that whole time the big joke was that Daddy was saving all of his money to buy Mickey bars.

So, we went, got to AK and had the first of what was planned to be many Mickey bars. Have they changed??? DH could have sworn they used to be made by Dove and they are definitely now by NEstle. The chocolate doesn't seem as rich and the bar itself just didn't seem as thick.

So, are they different or were we just remembering them with too romanticized of memories?

All Mickey bar fanatics, please weigh in. (With your vote, not what the scale says!!!)

I'm not entirely sure but I don't think they have changed them.

Maybe somebody else knows for sure.

Nope no change. DH is an expert he is up to a 2 a day habit when are there and in Dec/Jan they were the same.

You know, I thought the same thing. They definately are not as rich. I thought it was just me.

I don't know if they've changed in the last few years but I can definately tell you that they've changed since I first started going to WDW 26 years ago. They used to have only the ears coated with chocolate. They were made with vanilla ice cream with chocolate ice cream eyes, nose and mouth. Anyone remember those? It was a long time ago but I still have a wrapper.
