I can't help but think about tornadoes with all of the footage on the news right now.

50 years ago on April 3 an F5 tornado ripped through parts of Michigan.

My family has been talking a lot about this lately. My Dad had to get pictures together for a special the local news station was putting together.

He said the air was very still that day and everything felt off. My Grandfather's business was completely destroyed and they were lucky to be alive.

Just wondering if anyone else remembers this?

Was this the one that hit Flint? That one did destroy everything in its path.
I am deathly afraid of storms.

Too young to remember or even know about it.

This is the one that started near Saugutuck, I believe, and then went through Hudsonville and Standale.

I guess it was really something.

I think it was part of a series of storms that day and one of them did hit Flint.

I was just happy that I could honestly say I am too young to remember it.

Can't quite use that phrase too often anymore. :teeth:
