Michaels 50% off

I love michaels stores and their coupons! Today i looked through the sunday paper and found michaels had a 50% off coupon good for yesterday and today only (for labor day). So i went over and bought the CUTEST "Scrap paper scissors: mini organizer" (purse looking thing) and i got it for 10 bucks!

WOO HOO!!!!!

Funny how little things like that can make your day, eh?

Well, phooey!!! I have this coupon and tried to get to Michaels but the storms were / are too bad. The storm is worse a couple of miles south or I wouldn't be online. Too much hail and the water was pouring across the street, really deep, so I headed back home.

I'm supposed to be at a picnic at a neighbor's right now (which will be inside now), but maybe I can head back out later this evening. I'm not sure what I even want to get with it, but a 50% coupon is too good to waste!

Watch out Nancy! Although, you're probably too far south.

And, yes, the crop-a-dile is wonderful. I got it with a coupon earlier this week. It's so easy on your hands!

i was looking at the crop-a-dile and i just didnt see the point of it. Granted, i only got to look at it for about half a minute, but it looked like a bunch of hole punchers.... i know im probably wrong, but if someone wants to take the time to explain it to me and what it's function is (haha) then i'll probably go out next week when i get a 40 % coupon in the mail again!

It does have both the 1/8" and a 3/16" hole punches on either side of the gadget. But it also has the eyelet setter in the center of the tool. You just adjust the setting, place the eyelet over the peg, and very lightly squeeze the handles together and it sets the eyelet or snap. It is very easy. I get a lot of hand pain using most of the scrapbooking tools, so this is really good for me. I've been using eyelets more and more as well.

I think you need to weigh factors like how often you use eyelets to determine if it's really worth it to you. I would go to a LSS, if you have one nearby, and ask to try one before purchasing. That's what I did. Personally, I would not have purchased this at full price, but the coupon made it worth it. My initial response to the tool (when it came out) was the same as what you expressed above.
