... when WWTBAM first opened it was very exciting, I suppose because the TV show was at it's most popular. We went to a preview of the show in MGM before it offically opened and the atmosphere was electric and everyone very 'up' for it. The presenter came to speak with us afterwards to ask how he did and how it came over.
We really enjoyed it and got caught up in the buzz surrounding a brand new attaction.

I'm a little sorry to see it go but agree it has probably run it's course.

We went in once when it first opened, but haven't bothered since.

Got into the hot seat by randomly hitting the buttons on the fastest finger round, got to the 1,000,000 point question and got it wrong! I had to settle for 10 pins, a baseball cap and a polo shirt - missed out on a leather jacket and a trip on the Disney Cruise Line. If I'd known who invented the 'Band Aid' - no not Bob Geldof, the sicking plaster, we'd have had a free cruise.

It will be closed by the time we go in October, so I might take the 32,000 point polo shirt to wear.

Can't say it will be any great lose to me either ~ Agree about the Lucy show at Universal.

Can't say I'll miss it much and I agree about I Love Lucy too.
