What is there to do for an adult that does not enjoy rides at MGM?

IS there anything on the old black and white mgm movies from the 30's and 40's?

There are several shows and walk through attractions at MGM that adults would enjoy:

-Animation tour
-Indiana Jones Stunt show
-Lights, Motors, Action Extreme Stunt show
-Beauty and the Beast shiow
-Walt Disney: One Man's Dream
-Who Wants To Be A Millionaire- Play It
-Narnia walkthrough tour
-Sounds Dangerous

As far as the old movies, there really isn't an attraction devoted to them, but the Great Movie Ride does feature a few scenes from some classic 30's-50's movies. I know you said that you didn't like rides, but this isn't a thrill ride or scary/motion sickness-y at all. It's really neat.

The Great Movie Ride (not a "thrill-ride" but more of a "traveling theater") takes you past life-sized set-reconstructions and animatronic "actors" in recreations of famous scenes from classic films.
It starts with dioramas of the early talkies (a Busby Berkeley musical) and continues with many glimpses of memorable films, actors, and settings James Cagney, Gene Kelly, Bogie, Mickey Mouse (who'd have guessed) are there. It continues through leap-frogging back and forth between film eras with pauses at Tarzan, Alien, Indiana Jones and THE WIZARD OF OZ.
Lots more are there, with an on-screen finale filled with an entertaining collection of "snippets" edited together... featuring the faces and dialogue that made the movies great.
If you are a movie BUFF, this ride will NOT be LONG enough... but its the best of its kind.
(IMO, the Wizard of Oz munchkin set alone is worth a trip to the Studios.)

Disney-MGM Studios only has a few thrill rides. Most of the park is a combination of shows, walk-through attractions (some with historical or movie-technical focus), tours, and general atmosphere (1950s Hollywood, primarily).

One Man's Dream is full of Walt Disney's history and really interesting to go through, plus at the end the movie is very good!!! :goodvibes
