MGM and Star Wars Question?

About 3 years ago when we were at Disney there was this huge Star Wars celebration theme going on. I LOVE STAR WARS and was in heaven so was my son who of course has been brain washed with Star Wars and Sci Fi from an early age. I saw somewhere on one of these forums something about Star Wars weekends in May. We will be doing Disney in May next year and I was just wondering are you sure they only do this during the weekends, if so Boo Hoo because we arrive late Sunday and do the parks Monday thru Friday and leave on Saturday. This was the same the last time we did Disney but we hit the Star Wars thing during the weeki don't remember which day we did MGM though of course. If you have any info or links that could help I would be one happy Wookie.

I checked out the dates for this past year (2003) at www.wdwig.com and it appears some weekends were Fri-Sun and some were Sat-Sun. Ya might want to check that website to get a better idea of events for the Star Wars Weekends.
