So this is my first disney cruise and we are so excited! I have a pretty random question but wondering if any has done this before. So in Cabo one of the days we just want to do the resort thing, enjoy the pool and beach. Has anyone ever just booked a room at one of the resorts and then just used the facilities for the day? There is going to be 8 of us and I thought this might be a good idea to save money and also be able to order a good lunch their instead of having a buffet or something (we have some picky eaters) Let me know what you think and if you've ever heard of anyone doing this. Thanks so much!

I havent read of anyone booking a room for the day in Cabo but it doesnt seem like a bad thing. We are planning on finding a resort for the day there however the buffet seems to be what is "included", that doesnt mean there will not be other food to order.

We are still working on what to do in Cabo.

For Puerto Vallarta we are planning on the Crown Paradise Resort which you can walk to from the ship.

I remember reading about people booking rooms at a hotel so they could book excursions as if they weren't from a cruise ship (which was much cheaper). I can't remember what forum I read it on - maybe Cruise Critic or Trip Advisor.
