Hey Y'all,

This morning I didn't know anything about the quarter's running of the bulls. Just spoke with DD, her & a bunch of friends are getting all decked for the running tomorrow. They made t-shirts, red bandannas, bought mariachi hats. They are starting the morning at 7:00 with breakfast & sangria!

You will need to show pics, i gotta see this!!!!

Got our car back already, no extra expense to us thankfully!!
Now, for it to last a couple more years!

I took a little trip across the lake yesterday and went to Harrah's.

Of course I didn't come home a winner but we had a really fun time and the buffet was pretty good too. I look at it as purley entertaintment value.

He couldn't pitch, they're planning on pitching him the opening game of the World Series in Cincinnati. He did do pretty well hitting this weekend, he was 10 for 13 and he's not a strong hitter, go figure. He's on his way home now and he heads out tomorrow morning....

Mornin' ya'll! I went to bed late and got up early. I have been napping a lot lately. We are starting back at the gym today-light duty and some swimming.

I love going to church on Saturday-it feels like an extra day off on the weekend to not have to get up on Sunday for it!

Boy it is hot!

Kathy, It is hotter up there in Bossier City, we evacuated there for Katrina & even in Sept we had a couple of days @ 100.

Here's a youtube link to the running of the bulls yesterday. Not a great video but so funny. It looks like it was a lot of fun! DD, SIL & friends are in the crowd, but really hard to pick out. They are near the end, at minute 1:05 of the video. The guys wore mariachi hats & mustaches, they all wore black belts with red scarves.

Hey guys- I haven't posted in a while but I read here everyday! I hope everyone's doing well and enjoying their summer. Friday was our last day of summer camp (I'm the assistant director and my 2 kids go with me) so I am anxiously looking forward to some R&R before school starts up again.

We are going on our 1st cruise this November and I want to get passports for all of us. Can anyone direct me on what I need to do? Thanks so much!

Kim, DD & SIL were able to make an appt. at the Gretna Post Office to get there passports. I can get more details from her if you need them.

hey I think you can type in passport information or how to get a passport on google and it will take you where you need to go. you can print out the applications ( I did this a while back then never did anything with it!) sounds like so much fun!!

ok this is kind of fun...friend who makes t-shirts for our business - her daughter (20 y.o) is in the youth group and was at party yesterday. friend's son is already at Disney working at AK at vending cart. her daughter is going to Disney in august to work for 5 months for college program and friend will be there when we go in November! then another person at party told us his son works at FRONT DESK of POP!!! woo hoo!! That's where we are staying in Nov....now I *REALLY* can't wait! and another friend's nephew is over there as photog in MK....now I feel like I am *connected*!!!! woo hoo!

Maybe you'll get some extras at Pop!!! We got Pop Century rubiks cubes one day as a special gift. I have no idea how many peopl get this stuff, but it me us feel special!!! Maybe you will get the room you asked for, if you designated a section. We got NONE of what we asked for other than being close to my brothers and his family and we didn't even ask for connecting rooms- which I mentioned we did not use!

Fun!!! that you know so many that will be there.

I read a LOT about passports right here on the Dis-not the boards but thier awesome info on cruises-I think it links to Dreamsunlimited.com and they have awesome info-even a link to the documents you need before embarking(debarking-I still don't know the terms it all just sounds like you are getting on a boat and leaving )

Hmmm..we're booked through Dreams Unlimited..I have to do some research!!!

ASmovies will always hold a dear place in my heart- that's where we stayed during our evacuation for Katrina...best trip ever! Caribbean Beach is my favorite overall, so far. I'm trying to stay in a different hotel each time we go!
