Mary, I'm sorry I missed your question about F&W. If you're doing any wine tastings or food demos, that's park clothes. As Laurie said anything dinners are signature rest clothes, collared shirts for men, no cut-offs etc.

Some of these may have been filled by now. There is a discount if you are a annual passholder, DVC or Table in Wonderland card holder. $5 instead of $8 But some of the good ones showed they were filled at the discount rate, we had to go back in & not check the box for discounts to find those.

p.s. The dr didn't want to give her anything! He claims that if you stop the symptons the virus doesn't work out of your system as quickly. Have I mentioned before that I can't stand that dr?!

Poor baby. Get her some Emetrol for Nausea from Walgreens or Wal-mart. It's used for relief of nausea due to upset stomach from intestinal flu and stomach flu. IHTH

Chris gave her some, but you know what happened with that, yeah came right back up. I just hope she doesn't end up in the hospital dehydrated. Thank Goodness Chris is a nurse & knows what to do & what to watch out for.

Alexis is among the sick today. She started with vomiting & fever last night, Chris just left the dr's office. A stomach flu is also going around. Of course nothing they can do for that. We are both so worried about her missing school already. She seems to pick up every single thing that goes around. With swine flu & who knows what else is going around, it's just scary.

I'm sorry she is so sick.

I looked at Boo to the Zoo email. I'm not going to go. We are still debating on which Broadway shows to go to. You'd think I'd know all about all 5 since they advertise so much in NYC but now I can't remember what they are about.

Kat, we don't have any wine events booked. Do you reccomend that?

We did Party for the Senses last year and enjoyed it but honestly I don't recommend it. It's super crowded and we actually enjoyed the food & wine at the kiosks better than the pricey party. This year we are trying a cooking/wine demo and a wine seminar. Look at what Sheryl posted and book a few, they're cheap!

I bought tix for the Sun 11/1 Cats show (7:30pm)! they were $30 each after all teh silly add on fees. that will be G's present since I can't take her to WDW this year....they are up in the rafters but glad to be able to go

Erik is doing much better, thank goodness. All of his tests came back negative, so it's just a virus. That was very scary with the swine flu going around!

Sheryl- Poor Alexis- I hope she feels better soon!

Lori- I know the squeals are at an all time high now! I read on another board that are doing the offer bounceback this month at the resorts (Free dining for next year). Do you think you'll be tempted?

Kathy- Two years- that's great!! Way to go girl!

Well Aly is still congested and coughing so I think we will let her stay out the remainder of the week; I'll call the Dr and get another return to school slip.

Poor sugar. I hope she feels better tomorrow. You're doing the right thing not sending her to school. Having been sick, she might catch something more easily.

Emetrol was something that my mom kept in the medicine cabinet all the time. Thinking about how sweet it was makes my stomach flip flop.

Yes, the countdown continues and they get more and more excited. I am proud of them though b/c they are getting school done with litt whining.

Poor Haley is STILL coughing. We've been hand gelling it and not getting too close to others faces and vit C, etc..... and praying! to not get sick for vacation!

I bet that is excuse for what i mentioned in an earlier post- that the CDC is asking them to reserve that tamiflu.

I wish we lived closer b/c i have phenergan suppositories in my fridge. THAT really helps. if she keeps vomiting, see if he'll at least do that to prevent dehydration. Emetrol didn't work for Ashton when she had that a few months back.

It is actually quiet in this house right now....the calm before the storm!!

Erik had a rough night (which means that I had a rough night...), so he's not completely well just yet. Hopefully this virus will be over soon!

Lori- Hope Haley feels better soon! Have you taken Emergen-C? I swear by that stuff. As many times as we've gone in September, we've never taken advantage of the bounceback offer either. We just can't commit that far ahead without knowing what lies ahead in the future. Even though the deposit is refundable, it would kill me to cancel and I would still feel committed to go just because I booked it.

I've noticed that my spelling, grammar, and typos are just atrocious lately- please forgive! I'm lacking brain cells these days!

Guys- Just read on the WFD thread a post by Shovan that little A is having an emerg. appendectomy right about now! Not wanting to steal thunder, but I bet everyone is in a tizzy there. At least that explains the "stomach flu" she's been having.

Prayers that all is well for the Princess! Time for some extra spoiling from Nana & co!

She's in recovery now. The appendix had burst had a lot of cleanup to do. She'll be on 3antibiotics. Shell be in hospital from 3 to 7days.

Ruptured appendix? Poor thing! No wonder she was in so much distress. P&PD the antibiotics kick in, they've scoured out her insides for no residual secondary mess, & she doesn't end up with anything more than a scar.

Once she's better, you can tell her we expected nothing less than that level of drama from such a diva! Never a dull moment, huh?
