Can I just say I'm REALLY GLAD I'm NOT working for the RSD?!?

Kat, that sure is scary, what happened to your friend. I did know that you have to call the Coast Guard and not 911, seems kinda silly if you ask me. I don't know if I told you guys this story when it happened. My sister and BIL own a boat and decided to take it out back around Easter. Once they got out on the Indian River, they decided it was such a nice day and to head out into the ocean to go fishing so they headed down to the inlet and about 3/4 miles into the Atlantic they ran out of gas (at which point my sister remembered they hadn't gassed up the boat in a long long time). They had to call the coast guard who contract with someone to bring 10 gallons of fuel... the cost $500!I am very grateful they were never in any danger... but another good lesson of making sure there is plenty of gas in your boat.
Hey y'all!
I'm glad that the thread seems to be picking up some steam- I've been reading and you're all in my thoughts-
I know this is short notice, but I am available to do lunch on Thursay this week. Bethany and I had discussed doing lunch and I believe others had also expressed interest, so I am free on Thursday if anyone is available.
Erik is doing well and is getting so big! He's starting to "talk" and coo when I talk to him- it is so cute!He has a dr appt tomorrow and is getting his first round of vaccinations
. I hope all goes well.
Sienna helped me bake a banana bread today and had a blast doing so! I think she may have some chef in her blood!
Ok, I hope this posts- I'm not typing again!
Hi Lorie - I have to work but I can get away for lunch...where are you guys going?
Not sure where we're going yet....I just finally narrowed down a day to go!Hi Lorie - I have to work but I can get away for lunch...where are you guys going?
I'm glad little Erik is cooperating now. LOL
I'm glad Thursday works for y'all! And thanks- I hope he doesn't have any reactions to his shots (like Annabelle!).I'm also glad it's picking up steam too.![]()
Thursday for lunch works for me...and Sheryl too!
That is so cute about your kids! I saw the Sienna pic on Facebook.I pray Erik's vaccines go well.

Hmmm...I dunno.
Maybe we should discuss on a FB message thread? Since they are not limited to 5 people at a time.![]()
Of course y'all can! The places I was thinking of are kid-friendly.If there is room for three more, I would love to come Thursday too.. but I have to bring my two oldest.
Hey y'all!
Back from Erik's dr appt and a bunch of errands. He is doing just fine healthwise, but boy, did he hate those shots! He got over it pretty quickly after I picked him up and held him for a bit though- poor little guy. At least he has some chunky thighs now for the injection site (my friend calls it the "sweetmeat"
). I gave him some Tylenol and put him to bed when we got home so hopefully he won't be feeling too bad later on. He is following Sienna's growth pattern almost exactly- they weighed almost the same at birth and almost the same weight again at the 2 month appt...so I'm thinking he may be a big baby too! I'm so glad and relieved to see our regular pediatrician again- she chatted awhile, listened to my concerns, reassured me, gave me advice- so much better than the last doctor! She even asked about Sienna and asked if I had any health concerns with her and gave me some potty training advice.
Julie-You know we are always here to listen!
