Lorie what a beautiful baby Erik is. Congrats to you and Todd. How is Sienna doing? I'm sure she is the proud big sister.

Kathy I'm right there with you on wondering where the time has gone. Yesterday we were watching old home videos of when the kids were little. It seems like just yesterday I was carrying one of them on my hip and now I've got a Senior in High School. It's so hard letting go and I need to come to terms with it. You've raised a fine young man in Kyle. A great big Happy Birthday to him.

So most of the teachers didn't go on time to the meeting so now we all have detention and have to stay an extra half hour. I can leave at 3 because I was one of the 9 people on time. The ap was like "oh but you won't walk out on me..." um, yes, I would!

Hey Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite restaurants!

For those of you on the North Shore, DH & I went to a new restaurant last week called Tchoup Stix. Its Japanese, and awesome. I highly recommend it. It's on Hwy 21 across from the Target/JCP mall.

Congrats Lorie! Baby Erik is a doll! Haven't been checking in much- just wanted to tell everyone "hello" and I've been thinking of you all...Michael is still not 100% since his seizure so I've been hyper vigilant...i think I'm driving him crazy, following him everywhere

Sorry to here that. Hope he comes around soon. My great-niece has seizures a lot so I know how frightening they are. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.

Thanks for all of the well wishes! DH brought the laptop to help pass the time (not that there is much of that ).

Erik is the sweetest, quietest, best baby ever! And no, I'm not biased at all! But, prayers are needed because he is jaundiced, so they have him now set up in my room in the bassinet with the lights on him with his little goggles on. I can't hold him or take him out- it is killing me. If his levels don't go down, he'll have to stay in the NICU when I am discharged until the jaundice is gone. So any good thoughts are appreciated.

Otherwise, everyone is doing well and I can't wait to get home with all of my family under one roof!

So it's 3:30 and I'm already at home! I got a ride today because I brought more boxes from work.

Cracker-dilly is awesome vacation food! You can't beat breakfast served 24/7!

OH, and I get you on the car singing. Good thing she's a solo act. DH & I about wet ourselves one night on the way home when our two decided to sing every song they knew (including guitar & drum solos ) from the Guitar Hero games. It sounded like an ipod on manic shuffle!

So I'm guessing y'all should be checking in right about now....DH must've really wanted to get away that y'all left so early! Have fun!

Lorie - How's everyone doing? DS1 was a bit jaundiced as well, but we were able to just take care of it @ home by keeping him by a window. Fingers crossed he doesn't need to stay in the NICU. Are you getting rest?

nahhhh, if the weatherman is right... you will have rain tomorrow and Saturday but a gorgeous Sunday Never did understand how Florida got the nickname the "Sunshine State"... must have happened in a drought...lol Some of my best Disney memories are in the rain... don't let it spoil your fun.

HEY Lori! glad to hear from you!. glad you are having it easy so far with Erik. he is just gorgeous! I know you and Todd must be over the moon! How is Ms Sienna reacting to him? Grayce had jaundice too...I know this is hard for you but hang in there! hope they are feeding you well - let us know if you need some food smuggled in! I know you said you have food for days, but after those days are up let us know if we can help with meals or something.
