Do You Still Ride All The Rides

I find I have trouble with anything that goes backward and try not to ride any rides that go backward. I meant to say the Expedition Everest ride which always makes me sick.

I've never been a thrill rider, so not much has changed for me over the years. I only did the teacups once when I was 40, and I found it so unpleasant that I never went on them again. DH was a thrill rider, but he had a serious reaction to riding the Harry Potter ride that lasted weeks. Now we both are more cautious. There's still plenty of rides that we enjoy so that when we have Grandkids one day, we will return to WDW and hopefully Disneyland (my favorite) as well.

I find I have trouble with anything that goes backward. The Kilamanjaro ride in HS has a backward part while in the dark. I got sick with that one and vowed not to ride any rides that go backward.

Tron does not go backwards, but it does have fast and steep inclines and declines. Guardians of the Galaxy goes backwards.

What ride is that?
Yep I had a momentary lapse of memory, lol.
It's Expedition Everest! I actually love that ride, but the fast backward motion while in the dark makes me sick. Sorry for the confusion. I changed that post to make it correct.

By the HP ride, did you mean the Forbidden Journey one? I can't ride that one either. I always felt like I was going to fall over backward and couldn't enjoy the ride. I am able to ride Gringott's because there is no backward movement.

I agree! I really wanted to love that ride-I'd seen Joe Rhode on TV talking about the planning that the imagineers did, but as soon as that ride went "whippy-whirly backwards", so did my stomach, and I made it to a bench after I got off the ride and didn't move for 3 hours. So I've vowed that I'll only go on the ride again if Joe Rhode himself invites me. I think I'm pretty safe!
