She's cool...she's lived all over. I highly doubt she'd move here, but she has lived in a lot of places. She was an archaeologist or something before she started teaching at my old school. That was her reply to finding out my school here has enough teachers to cover all the classes.

She went back today to set up and I was hearing all the stuff. This has been a weird week for me and next week will be too because they are starting up and I'm not there. I'm SO GLAD I'm not there, but it's strange and there ARE a handful of people I do miss that I would have gotten to see this week if I was there.

Apparently a lot of teachers left and they have not been replaced - school starts Wednesday. The hole in my friend's floor got "fixed" by having linoleum tiles put on top of it - same way my hole got "fixed" 2 years ago. The sub floor still has dry rot. She put a bookshelf over it again.

She was telling me all this stuff and I literally got sick to my stomach. If I had to go back there I literally would be puking right now. I'd forgotten most of it but - wow - talking with her brought it all right back. On one hand it's so ridiculous it's hilarious; on the other it's so ridiculous it's disgusting.

I'm just so glad to be out of there...

Yes, send me your itinerary and I'll make your book. I have been in withdrawal because we're not going this Thanksgiving, so this will help. I asked Rie today if she wanted to go and she said no-ARGGHHHH. She's happy enough to go this Spring.

Hey y'all, Sorry for not checking in yesterday. It was a loong day at the hospital. Yesterday was worse for Alexis, her fever is higher than before the surgery & her pain is BAD. She is refusing to drink anything but water & doesn't want to move at all. We had to sponge bath her & get her out of the bed yesterday to change sheets. Poor baby it was awful. Chris realized yesterday they weren't giving her the full dose of morphine. So after a sleepless night Thursday night, she asked for it last night. She finally slept some only waking 4 times in pain. So she is still getting morphine, tylenol w/codiene, phenergan for nausea & the 3 antibiotics. Dr says this is all to be expected. His hopes were that she would be released Monday, but that's not looking good. Please pray that she improves, her Dr. is on vacation starting today & won't be back until Tuesday. Chris has a lot of faith in him & if anything were to go wrong now she would propably lose it.

I read back but didn't absorb it all.

I see that Aly is better! Yay for that!

Rie has a virus. I hope this clears up & she starts feeling better soon!

But I didn't catch if Erik was feeling better?

I'm praying for no more sickness for any of us or our babies!

Hey y'all!

Sheryl- I'm so sorry to hear that Alexis is having a rough time, poor girl. Hopefully she won't be in the hospital too much longer. Hang in there....

Erik is doing better, but is HUNGRY again!!! So this morning he was on his third bottle by 10:30 am and was having trouble napping because he kept waking up starving (belly growling loudly!), so I gave in and fixed him a bowl of rice cereal. Boy, he sucked that cereal down, FAST!! I fed him with a spoon and he had a little trouble with the spoon feeding at first, but he caught on really fast and soon had his mouth gaping open like a baby bird! So I think from now I'm I'll make him a bowl if he's super hungry like this morning. He slept, well, like a baby after the cereal too!

Lorie - That's exciting! I love that pic of him you put in your signature.

Did you get that rain today? OMG I was in Walmart and waited to leave along with a ton of other people because it was raining so hard you could barely see the cars from the doors. The bottom of my jeans are still a bit wet from walking through the puddles to get to my car. I'm just proud of myself because I went to BOTH Walmart AND Target and combined spent just around $100...the stuff ON MY LIST.

And I saw Cara's van drive past me LOL.

Hey ya'll. Trying to get caught up. Lots of sick kids here lately - I hope all of them get well soon.

Sheryl - I'm so sorry that Alexis is having such a rough time with this. I know it hurts you all to see her suffering and not being able to help or take away the pain. Hugs and prayers for all of you that she turns the corner soon and gets better.

Lorie - yea to Erik's first bowl of cereal! Hopefully that will help all around. And a second for Sienna!

Riesmom - A virus, huh? I hope Rie is feeling better soon. Love the planner you made. I get carried away with the planning as well - I put together binders..and I've already started mine for our trip next October .

We've been getting lots of dark clouds but no rain over here. I love when I can get out of either of those stores with just the stuff on my list!

I thought I had posted but guess I didn't....delayed...Ronnie (buyer) was trying to sell a property to fund the renovations on M&D's house, didn't go through so loan has to be increased to cover the renovation funds. We should close within 14 days.

Fingers crossed for you that this will finally be over soon. We finally sold our property in Lakeview - closed on it last month. I know exactly the kind of burden that will be lifted from your shoulders soon.

Question:

sooo.... do YOU all go all outlandish in planning any more, for those who have been blessed to go more than the normal(which i think may be all of us) family? Should I be doing more???? Is my trip gonna suck b/c I didn't plan more?

I just feel like planning the ADR's and which park to go to which day has been more than enough this time. I am so not stressed over this trip. I feel oddly at peace without a perfect to a tee plan. Every time I feel the pull to plug in my info to the Unofficial Guide, I feel like, WHY am I doing this? I do not need to write down the rides I wanna ride 1st, etc...

I'm hoping it's just a case of she's at the hospital and her service is bad and/or it's on silent and she doesn't realize you're trying to get in touch with her or she's sleeping.
