Message from C.Ann porb w/disboard

Got this email this morning from C.Ann..anyone else having problems with getting on?

**Says I'm not
logged in. Then when I do log in over again it says "Thank you for logging
in, C.Ann" and then kicks me right back to the page that says permission denied
and that I'm not logged in.. **

She needs help..she needs to Dis!

For a little while I couldn't access the DIS at all, kept getting web page can't be found.

I wonder if her cookies setting somehow got changed and her cookie for the DIS also got deleted? I've had problems with some websites when my PC was set not to take cookies.

I delete my cookies every night and can get in as soon as I sign back in.

Hope she finds her way back soon.

yes, that is probably her problem. I get the same thing trying to log as "Buckalew". And then I changed to BHFan and for whatever reason, it won't let me post at all--when I try to ask to send my password to me nothing ever happens.

So, just now, 5 mins. ago, I reregistered under a different name still. I must have done something to my cookies but have no idea how to fix it and don't want to bother! LOL

About an hour or so ago, the board kept locking up on me. So I was "forced" to other Disney boards.

I was having that problem on a few of the boards earlier. I just shut down and started over and everything seems fine now. Maybe she should give that a try.

Meriweather, if I understand how it works right, your system will add a cookie for the DIS every time you log in. If C.Ann's settings are changed to not accept cookies or if she has some kind of virus blocking it then she can't log in to the DIS.

Her dates being messed up could affect her too. I once changed my calendar to late in the year to plan my vacation days and then forgot to change it back. I couldn't stay logged into EZBoards until I remembered what I'd done.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago. I thought I had been kicked off the DIS!!!

It only lasted about 8 hours, but let me tell you, it was upsetting!

can a webmaster who might be able to help CAnn please PM me..she has no way to reach anyone without being "on". Please just one of the webmasters. She's tried the other suggestions. Thanks.

Just wanted to say thank you to DMRick for posting this - and to all that answered..

Nothing worked - emails to the DIS through the "contact us" link went unanswered - so I had to re-register under a new user name and email address..
