Oh! I saw that too! It was in that big store in Tomorrowland. I had to stop and do sort of a double-take when i saw it.

I was very amused by the Yoda backpacks that I saw a couple of girls wearing in October. They were cool because Yoda actually looked close to what his 'real' size would be, so it looked like an actual Yoda on their backs. The idea of Santa Yoda is clever and unusual because I don't think they normally have Yoda as Santa each year, and he is not one you would normally think of sticking a Santa hat on! Cute!!:santa:

As for the trees - I bet you are correct in that a bunch of them are in IASWH. I just wonder if there were this many trees scattered about last year or if this some new thing DLR is doing. If the bulk of the 700 trees are strewn about inside shops and restaurants, then quite possibly there was the same number last year too! Wasn't the tree up in the GCH lobby yet? That would be one more tree to add to the list!

We just got back last night. The tree in the GCH was up yesterday. We stayed out until almost midnight on Sunday night. When we got back to the hotel, the lobby was filled with boxes. On Monday morning, the tree was up and the hotel was decorated. I'm so glad we got to see it. It looks beautiful. Now I wish someone would decorate my house while I'm sleeping.

That would be nice for you (if someone could decorate while you were asleep!). Isn't that a big part of the holiday fun, though - decorating? I know I used to look forward to decorating the office every year at the place I used to work (much to my boss' chagrin). I put out all the holiday candles, scattered around the office, I put out the dancing and singing snowman and the Santa on a motorcycle, and a musical bear and all this stuff! I LOVE getting out all kinds of decorations and ornaments - from cheesy to beautiful - and finding just the right spots to put them!! I love that stuff! If I could, I would sneak into your house at night and put up the Christmas decorations for you!!!:rotfl:

Oh, and yes, I love that GCH tree! It feels so Christmasy in that whole lobby/hearth area! A perfect place to sit and sip your cocoa and eat your cookie!

Okay, so they just put tree up and it wasn't that I completely missed seeing it when I was there last weekend. :rotfl:

I think it would be nice for someone to un-decorate my house overnight after Christmas since that's not nearly as fun as putting everything out.
