Merrell in stores?

I have been searching for shoes for our trip in October. Does anyone know which stores carry Merrell shoes? I'd really rather be able to try on a few different styles before making a purchase.

I've seen them at Belks and Gander Mountain both. I don't know about other stores (Dicks, Macys, Bass Pro Shop, etc), but you could always check online before going to the stores.

You can find them in most sporting goods/athletic wear stores, but I've only found one or two styles of sneakers in any store and I was not looking for sneakers.

I just bought a pair of Merrell boots from shoes.com and a pair of mary janes from zappos (shoes.com was cheaper, but didn't have my size). They both offer free shipping and free returns, so if you could narrow it down to 2 or 3 that you think you will like you can try them and send the other(s) back. I usually wear an 8.5 and the Merrells in that size fit me well, so you shouldn't have to worry too much about sizing.

They have limited styles in Dick's, EMS, Track and Trail (these are all stores near me, not sure where you are.) I bought some Merrells for my last trip in Jan and LOVE them. They are so lightweight and you can feel a breeze while walking in them. Very comfortable and I had no blisters or any issues at all.

I just got done trying to fing a shoe that worked for me. Wasnt sure the size and how the different styles would fit. I found Merrells at REI, Nordstrums, and Sports Authority. I was also able to find them at a store in our mall named Takkens. This store carried a larger variety of Dansko's, Merrels and keens than any of the other stores. Also they had someone there who specialized in foot and back problems and how to match you up with the right shoe. I went for Merrells, but ended up with Dansko's Sela. I couldnt find these any cheeper on the net and it was nice having someone who knew what they were doing to help me figure out the right shoe for me.

Dillards has a small selection of Merrell sandals, but its the only store in my area that even carries them. A larger store may carry a better variety.

OP here: Great! Thanks for the info! Great tip on free shipping to try a couple of pairs out. I have a large foot so that in itself can be a challenge to finding shoes!

I've seen them @ Marshall's (Like a TJ Maxx in case you're not familiar w/ that store).
