I have no clue exactly what accent it was. I don't know if that is the same girl playing Merida or not since they all use the same wig and the wig is about 90% of their look.

We just met a different Merida than the one in pics above, but she was by far the best character interaction we had. Well, Gaston is pretty great, too, I suppose. But she was the best princess! I was warned here on the board that morning is the best time. We got to her around 9:40 I would say and waited less than 5 minutes outside the garden. Then our group went it and it was about 10 more minutes for the wait inside, the meet, and my daughter's chance at the archery set up. I was very pleasantly surprised that it went so quickly!
We met a different Merida, as well. (And yes, she has a Scottish accent - not too much ambiguity in Brave about where it takes place.)
Unfortunately, Merida was not one of our favorite meet and greets. She seemed kind of rushed and the PP photographer only took one or two photos (some of them take a dozen). It could have been because we were the first visitors of the day and maybe she needs time to "warm up." Or maybe my boys didn't give her anything to work with. Anyway - still worth the time and my boys enjoyed the post-meet archery.
Best meet and greet of our last trip! My son was completely against meeting ANY girl character on this trip...except for Merida! I guess since she has a weapon that makes her the exception. I agree that she was definitely worth the 30 minute wait
