Merchandise Mail Order?

Anyone care to share any experiences they've had with Merchandise Mail Order?

Our last trip was over 6 months ago, and I still have lingering memories of a few things that it would have been nice to pick up. Additionally, I'm considering getting a few Christmas stocking stuffers for our son in anticipation of a 2004 trip.

If I email a list of a dozen or so items to MMO, can I expect any sort of reply?

Are they accommodating of vague descriptions of items (eg. "t-shirt had XXX on it and I think I saw it at World of Disney")?

What if I just say that I'm looking for "an autograph book" or "a luggage tag"? Will they offer a suggestion or simply come back with "we need more specific info"?

Any information would be appreciated.

Here's a few tips I've learned.
If you can provide a "SKU#" to merchandising (thats the number on the bar code that identifies the product) thats the best way to get your item.

Try to be descriptive as possible (i.e size, character, color, price and even the park/gift shop or souvenir stand you saw the item.

You could mention when you were in the park last they might be able to look back at what they were selling then.

I just ordered from them a week ago Friday and my package arrived the following Friday even though they tell you 10-20 days!!!

I went so far as to send links to ebay auctions so the CM could click and see exactly what I was inquiring about and they returned the email listing all the items, sku's, descriptions and the actual retail price vs. the higher ebay starting price (were in most cases doubled). I was quite happy, ordered all the Fantasyland Desk accessory pieces but I haven't got to open them yet, must wait until husband leaves for work tomorrow so for right now the box is hiding in the dining room!!!

I use Disneyland Delivers 2-3 times a year. They have much better POC items then WDW. Normally I dont have a SKU# just a description and every one has shown up correct and within a week. I collect Disney art watches also by searching ebay for new items then calling right away to snag LE100 types.

Opened up my box today and the Buzz Lightyear business card holder had one broken laser gun. Called WDW Mail Order and they are shipping me a new one, requested to return broken one to local Disney store vs. package pickup etc. etc. and she said don't worry about it and is shipping replacement out via FedEx. EXCELLENT Customer Service as always!!!! I can't wait to rearrange my computer desk and move bookcase to other side and retire my Snow White 7 Dwarfs set to my husbands computer desk and put my new stuff out! I also got the HUGE 4 Parks One World oversized beach towel, too pretty to really use, LOL, and two of the 4 Parks One World Mouse pads, extra one for when the first one starts looking worn!
