Merch locations, the best of the best?

What type of merchandise do you like?

Similar to WDW, most of the merchandise is the same throughout the parks and DTD. We get some of your merchandise (ex. Norway ears, Slinky Dog Dash toy) and WDW has some merchandise from our attractions.

Did you decide if you are going to go into DCA? If so, you'll find some unique merchandise in Carsland and Avengers Campus.

They don't do much for me but Silhouettes on Main Street seem to be very popular with visitors.
We have a make your own baseball cap which I didn't see at WDW. I suppose they will be receiving it soon.
The CRISLU Disneyland marquee jewelry is very popular. It sells out quickly but also restocks frequently. It is only available at New Century Jewelry on Main Street in Disneyland

DTD has DLander with more exclusive items, Her Universe, and Pandora.
DTD also has Storyland Boutique with unique items. It is akin to Disney Ever After in Disney Springs.

Lilly Pulitzer is nowhere near as popular in California as it is in Florida.

It's probably not the answer you're looking for, but I've always bought "land-specific" merchandise within their specific "lands" as I find the overall selections to be a bit better than you would find elsewhere. The theming within these shops always adds to the shopping experience, too!

Main St: Emporium
Adventureland: Adventureland Bazaar
Frontierland: Pioneer Mercantile
New Orleans Square: La Mascarade d'Orleans
SW Galaxy's Edge: Droid Depot
Fantasyland: Mad Hatter
Tomorrowland: Star Trader

Downtown Disney: Really, the only right answer is World of Disney :)

I'll add that the Disneyland boards on this website work differently than the WDW boards. The Disneyland Community board generally isn't used for park related questions. If you post your two questions from the Community board on main Disneyland board, you will likely receive more replies.

When I used to frequent Disneyland in the 90's to 2004 I used to find that Mickey's Star Traders in Tomorrowland had the biggest selection of Disney merchandise and if I couldn't find what I wanted anywhere else I'd go to Mickey's Star Traders. Mom and I also used to go to The Disney Emporium and they had a lot of neat stuff. Do you also remember Mickey's Corner at the Disneyland Hotel in the 90's? That was an amazing shop that had almost every Disney merchandise possible
