As long as I can leave the pinto beans out of any selection, I like the new menu changes. Always loved tamales, so I'm good with that if they're even half decent. I admit I'm very old-school and really dislike the new 'healthy restaurant' trend of using the term 'protein'. Makes me feel like I'm eating Soilent Green or I'm a farm animal - I don't want a 'grain' and a 'protein' - I want rice and meat!
Your experience wasn't a one off. The food at Pecos Bill is consistently awful.Maybe we just had a bad experience, but the ONE time we went it was probably the worst Disney food we've ever had and unfortunately it's the kind of food that should have been good because it's not overly hard to produce.
Perhaps if I could convince my wife to try it again, she would. But I doubt it.

We eat there every trip and the food's good. I'm not looking for gourmet from a fast food location.Your experience wasn't a one off. The food at Pecos Bill is consistently awful.
Not looking for gourmet either but I do expect the food to be above trash and Pecos Bill unfortunately doesn't succeed in that regard. The only serviceable QS in MK is Columbia Harbor House and even that is just okay.We eat there every trip and the food's good. I'm not looking for gourmet from a fast food location.
I guess we'll agree to disagree, my family is obnonoxiously picky(drives me nuts) and they have no issue with Pecos Bill. I will admit that we liked it better when they had the toppings bar. It can't be that bad since it's wall to wall people everytime we eat there and they have a ton's of seating. It's weird that they would decide to change the menu with how busy it always is.Not looking for gourmet either but I do expect the food to be above trash and Pecos Bill unfortunately doesn't succeed in that regard. Right. I had to go back and make sure about this, but why the hatred for and lack of flour tortillas in a Mexican-themed restaurant (i.e. no tacos or burritos)?!?but why does it all have to be bowls?
