I am thrilled to be anywhere at WDW...we just love to be there...however, I am VERY sad because my favorite meal in the world was the Filet at Kona with mashed potatoes and asparagus...so it makes me sad to see that gone. I am not complaining because I can find other food to eat, just looked forward to it every trip!

So, as I have been reading about the changes in the menu...not having filets at some restaurants etc...I saw a few posts that the menus might only be changed for free dining? Anyone know that to be true? Would they go back to what they were before?

Is there ANY hope that my favorite meal would return :cheer2: We will be there in December.

Can't be confirmed or denied that the menus at some restaurants (a number of restaurants still serve filet, including Le Cellier, Maya Grill, the Wave, and Jiko, although it appears you are interested only in Kona) were changed only for the free dining period. We will not know that until the free dining period ends.

Thanks. We do like to eat them at other places, thats just my favorite. Thanks again...didnt know if this had happened before and thats where the speculation came from that it might be a temporary change.
