Menu at Yak and Yeti?

I apologize if this has been asked often before, but I haven't heard or seen anything about the type of cuisine that will be available at the Yak and Yeti in AK. I'm trying to organize my ADRs for our Jan. trip, and may want to pencil this one in if it sounds like we'd enjoy the food there. I saw in another thread that ADRs can't be made there yet, so I'd maybe try to add that one later.

The food has been described as "Pan-Asian" and "Asian Fusion." There are no menus available yet.

Not that I'm doubting you, but could you tell us where you saw that? This is the first I've heard of any announcement.

I just got of the phone with disney Dinning and was informed
by the CM they were told today the they will be accepting reservations very soon, but did not know about the menu as of yet.

Two weeks ago when I had a VIP tour guide at AK, she said the restaurant was owned and would be managed by the same folks (landrys) who own Rainforest Cafes. Not sure what that contributes to this thread, but thought I would mention it, lol.

Yes. That's why many people think it's unlikely that it'll be on the DDP. And some internet sources are claiming that the reason Tusker House is being converted to TS is because Yak and Yeti won't be on the Dining Plan and WDW management felt there needed to be a TS restaurant on the Plan in AK.

Of course, this is all still speculation and rumor at this point.

Someone posted here a week or so ago that a CM had read from their screen that the Y&Y would be the first TS in AK to accept the dining plan.

I wonder if our Rain Forrest Safari card will be honored at Yak & Yeti.
They are both Landry owned.

I doubt DDP or DDE.
But Rain Forrest gives AAA discounts I think. So maybe Yak & Yeti too.
