I won't say until I post a picture, but I must admit this: my hair is sooooo flippin' rockin'!

I was going to get upset ;) , 'til I realized that you'd posted this:

That was cruel wasn't it? Ok... drum roll please......

Look mum! New hair!

hairpic.jpg

Yup, I did it. I pulled a Paris Hilton and got instant hair. :rotfl2:

You look BEAUTIFUL! :woohoo:
Don't let's pull a Paris in any other way, though, OK? :lmao:

Anyway, TE is lightening (is that a word? V? LL?) up a bit, but it's very hard for me to just let it go. I'm guess I'm pretty subborn myself. If she takes me shopping tomorrow, then all is forgiven. :rotfl2: Yes, people my affection is for sale. Well, for the right shoe it is. :rolleyes1 :teeth:

I'm glad that things are a little better with your mama. And surely, "Being a mom means never having to say you're sorry" (that's how it goes, right?:rolleyes1 ) - it just means more presents. ;)

Ooh, me likes! Very nice. I didn't know they did that but that makes total sense. I think it looks great and wow, your hair looks so shiny and healthy. And may ask what product do you use in your hair?
Thanks Lisa! Let me tell you, my friend owns her own salon in Downey, so if you're ever in a fix, she's awesome! :thumbsup2

Ok, so as far as products go, I use Biolage shampoo and conditioning balm and I actually use Swartzkopf Anti-frizz Serum and finish with Jonathan Dirty Silk.
See, I knew she'd come around. If I were you I'd hold out just a little longer for the shoes.;)
Oh, BTW thanks again for the ShoeBuy code - used it day before yesterday to get Crocks for DSis and DS and some Tevas too.
Yeah, she can't stay mad at me. She'd be too lonely and who likes to shop alone all the time?:confused3 Great! I'm glad the code worked out for you. :goodvibes

Ok, I finally made it over......and apparently Tracy is mad at me??? :confused3
Here's some flowers:flower3:
What kind of cookies do you like???
I'll bake while I'm catching up!

Not you, TE. My mother, the other TE = The Enabler. See if you'd been reading all along, you wouldn't be so confused. :rolleyes1

Didnt know about highlight extensions, you have an educational TR.
Well do tell me the details as I am curious about this. I get me hair ?Does the extension feel real??
T, it's real human hair, just not my real hair.
How long did it take to weave in???
It's actually not weaved, which can damage hair. It's kinda clipped in, permanently, sort of. THey're called individual extension.
Can you tell its not your hair???It is heavy feeling???
Nope, you can't tell at all that it's not my hair. TE, Andy and Waldo all thought I just had highlights done. Waldo even felt my hair and I had to show him where it was attached. They don't feel heavy, but I only had about 30 pieces put in. At $5 a pop, that's all I was willing to commit to at this point. :sad2:
I know lots of question, sorry.
Not at all, my friend. ;)
Oh yeah, I will do most anything for shoes or handbags:lmao:
:thumbsup2
Your hair looks great!
Glad to hear TE is comimg around
Thanks, Janet! ;)

Yeah, I'm not cruel like that.... unlike some people who just love cliff hangers. :rolleyes1

You look BEAUTIFUL! :woohoo:

Thanks CE! But don't worry, I never leave the house pantyless. :lmao: I don't want my whoohaw on the front page of TMZ! :scared:

Yeah, and I guess being a daughter means your never too old for some good old fashioned bribery. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Look mum! New hair!

Yup, I did it. I pulled a Paris Hilton and got instant hair. :rotfl2: Now this is perfect for me you see. I so wanted some new highlights, right? But I know how damaging they are to my hair, since bleach would be involved. Well, I did the next best thing. Highlight extensions. I love, love, love them! My hair has more oomph to it and the highlights are SUPER fun looking. They did come out a little bright in the photo, I assure you they are not as blonde as they look. They're supposed to last for 3 months... we'll see. ;)

WOW! I'm am loooooving the hair! It looks awesome! Can't wait to see it in person.

Hmmm...your affection is for sale, eh? I guess I could see that! And hey - if she's lightening up enough to go shopping, I could lighten up enough to let her buy me something...seems like a fair trade...:thumbsup2

OR if not, you could just take her out for a drive....we're just going to run in here real quick and pick up some drycleaning...:rolleyes1

BTW ....DisneyMom just told me we needed to take a trip...& that I needed to plan on a day of rest afterwards....Now I thought...well ya'll Know what I thought!!!!!!.....

But Now I am starting to worry....could it be....Gosh I hope Not.....Oh Carp!!!!! My Nutters are starting to Hurt....& Holy crud I see she just order the Nut Bra.....I am in trouble!!!!!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
:rolleyes1

:lmao:

How did that Muppetts song go?

"Oh we're going for a ride..." :car: Heh heh heh...

pirate:

GASP... I LOVE it! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

What is it with pre-vacation hair changes? Mine's finally grown-out after the last vacation's chop and now I want it cut like Katie Holmes' new do.

They're supposed to last for 3 months... we'll see. ;)
What happens to them after 3 motnhs? Do they just start falling out?

Anyway, TE is lightening (is that a word? V? LL?)
::yes::

I totally realte, being insanely stubborn myself. I admit I rarely let anything go, but we jsut roll along with the ever-building wal of resentment. Life is good! :rotfl:
Tracy is mad at me??? :confused3
:rotfl2: That's exactly what I thought at first and was like WHA...??? :confused3

Love, Love, Love your hair Tracy!!!! :woohoo:

I need to do something with mine too, like a new cut, or maybe a little color. :confused3

We'll see, I have an appointment coming up with my hairdresser before the trip! :thumbsup2

Tracy - Yes your hair is most definitely ROCKIN'. Every question I was going to ask was asked so I have nothing else to say except that I need to get my hair longer again but I'll still stick to frying it with my home colorings. Oh, you people did not just hear that. I'm assuming most of you skip over people's comments and head straight to Tracy's postings....;)

It's Friday again (TGIF) and that means, slow time at the office, :cool1: So I'm catching up.

First, love the hair, looks good and nice to know that it doesn't do any damage. $5 a pop, eh, so how many does Paris do?

The whole family is off to the salon on Sunday, me to get rid of that darn gray, and get another cut, and all boys, hubby included are starting to look shaggy, no can do, the rule in our house is, no one's hair can be longer than Mom's and Mom wears it short.

While I would love to join all of you for a Lapu on the 25th, we have ADRs for Portabello's at 7:40 that night. I will be hanging a LGMHPC from my bag, so hopping to see you there. (I however have the advantage as I know what you look like.)

Still need to get our tickets, I usually just buy when I book but, since we are using DVC points, need to buy separately. Speaking of DVC, don't give up, just use SiL as ammo. You may also want to remind DH that with DVC you can get a two bedroom and have some private time. :rolleyes1 If I listened to my SiL, I still wouldn't have DVC, but it's our first time as owners, so I'll see how it goes.

Have to work on my packing list, have great weekend all!!:flower3:

OR if not, you could just take her out for a drive....we're just going to run in here real quick and pick up some drycleaning...:rolleyes1

OMG! That was the funniest story. I'm going to try it on Andy. I wonder if he'll let me "buy" him a vasectomy. :rotfl2:

:lmao:

How did that Muppetts song go?

"Oh we're going for a ride..." :car: Heh heh heh...

I know one of them goes "movin' right along......':rotfl:
What is it with pre-vacation hair changes? Mine's finally grown-out after the last vacation's chop and now I want it cut like Katie Holmes' new do.
OMGarsh! I love Katie's new 'do! You should do it, V! If I didn't have such a big head, I'd do it. :thumbsup2

What happens to them after 3 motnhs? Do they just start falling out?
You have to have them removed at around 3 months, just because of your regrowth. They can fall out at anytime if you don't take care of them or if you pull on them too much.

I totally realte, being insanely stubborn myself. I admit I rarely let anything go, but we jsut roll along with the ever-building wal of resentment. Life is good!
I KWYM. That wall of resentment is rivaling the Great Wall of China these days. :lmao:
Love, Love, Love your hair Tracy!!!!
I need to do something with mine too, like a new cut, or maybe a little color.
We'll see, I have an appointment coming up with my hairdresser before the trip!
Thanks, Tasha. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: I read everything! :rotfl2:

You know my friend was telling me that she does this one girls whole head and charges her 2 GRAND!!! Wholly cow! That's a lotta chedda'! Paris probably pays 2 or 3 times more than that.

Well, we'll be there I'd say until at least 9:30ish, so if you change your mind or find yourself at the Poly, please do pop in and say "Hi". I'll PM you my cell number before you leave for the world.
If I listened to my SiL, I still wouldn't have DVC, but it's our first time as owners, so I'll see how it goes.

I'm looking forward to hearing about what you thought of your first trip "home". Oh, I'll never give up on DVC!! Bwhahahaha!!! :stir:
:lmao:

My, oh, my...I leave for a drive to DC and find I'm waaaaaaay behind.

Sorry about the battle with TE. We're going to NY tomorrow to see extended family (both mine and DH). I should have so much dirty laundry by the time I return.....:scared1:

LOVE the hair! It's FAB-U-LOUS!:thumbsup2

OMG, so much to catch up on.

First, sorry I missed Evan's b-day, I wish him a belated one.

Now I love my mom, I'meventaking her to WDW in February, but there are those moments that I fantasize about strangling her, not that I would, but we all have are fantasies.;) End of the day she is a good mom and did right by me.

Glad to hear things are coming around for you.

LOVE THE HAIR!!! You are one sexy mama.

TE and I are not on speaking terms at this point. Bonus for me, right? :rolleyes1 .
Oh no T, do you live with your Mum and Dad? Or do they just pop in constantly? :rotfl2: So pleased she's lightening up!

And we smiled. Our problems had been solved. From that day on, when either of us tell yet another tale of mother-angst, we nod knowingly, smile and say "Bangladesh!"
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

That was my same plan when I tried to buy Tony a vasectomy for Christmas 2 years ago... I called to make the appointment for him and the nurse said that the patient has to make their own appointment...."But it's a surprise", I said...:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:
OMG LL :rotfl2:

Look mum! New hair!
