Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

I like the way you count, using your logic I really need to start packing! I only have :confused3 days by your count but, 17 by mine.

Speaking of packing, I like all the activity bags, but am glad I don't have to do them anymore. I tell my boys pack your carry-on activity bag and if they forget something, it becomes a lesson. (I know, mean Mommy, but hey they're getting older and have to become responsible at some point). Yes, of course I remind them to pack and put bag out and check to make sure it's fully loaded - I-Pods, Nintendo DS, and PS3. Thank God, the older they get the smaller the bag becomes, more costly, but smaller.

I know this isn't my pre-trip report but, can I get some prayers and pixiedust: , my youngest had surgery in May and now looks like he's getting an infection. I just need a little boost to get through the next fews days to be sure everything will be fine.

I also need to get my park passes, tried to go to the AAA store yesterday and it was closed :headache: , now I need to wait until Saturday as they close too early during the week to get there after work.

Just another reason I need a vacation, and it's coming in 17 days. :cool1:

Bragging, are you CE? ;)

I know he won't do laundry. He doesn't know how to work a washing machine. I already know TE's going to end up doing it for him. :sad2:

 Sorry, didn't mean to brag... If it helps, I look like a mushroom if I have it in a bob. :lmao:

Well, if Maddie has the pearl pink one then Brookie must have it too. My daughter has to keep up with yours! :cutie:
Well my DD's have a gameboy and a DS each :p :rotfl2: J has a pink DS and E a black one, wish you were closer I have 2 gameboys going spare :rotfl2:

Ask, and ye shall receive... My scanner doesn't appear to be working  - so I had to take a picture of the picture. It's blurry.

There are more "mushroomy" ones, but I ran across this one in my basement clean-up yesterday. It's 10 years old, the day after D's birthday, so he looks a little rough. It was also 5 years to the day earlier than the boys' birth!

You really don't look like a mushroom in this photo. But if you find a real "mushroomy" one, then by all means post it! :lmao:

Just wanted to pop in and say Hi:wave2: and I've finally made it over to your ever popular PTR.

Ok so I'm halfway through this ginormous Pre Trippie after reading your 1st TR (yes DL's IASW has a much better outside than WDW's) and I've been trying to keep up with everyone else's PTR and TR and my TR and :crazy2:..... well I'm almost caught up. :thumbsup2

Loving it all Tracy, your family is so much like my family it's scary (we're brown people too ;) ) and as pointed out by V in my TR I have a Waldo too!

Anyhoo, will hopefully be done before Waldo hits the World again!
(BTW the lost and found pic of Waldo in Knots Berry is priceless, love it!)

Now it's crunch time. Things are starting to get crazy around here. Lots and lots of questions need to be answered, my to-do list keeps growing, and my stress level is just now starting to level off.

I do well under pressure. Always have. In my previous life, the one before kids, I was a mortgage loan underwriter and account administrator. Talk about pressure. But I loved it, loved the pressure, loved the deadlines, loved it all.

I can't seem to understand why my list of "must buy" doesn't seem to end. I thought I had everything, but at the 11th hour I remember something else I forgot. Not like me at all. :confused3 I have my "new" list in hand and I'm going to make another Target run this afternoon.

The Ducks came over last night and we settled on what would happen on our morning of departure. Our limo service is picking us up at 5:15 am and the Ducks will meet us here in Daisy's fathers SUV thing. They want to follow us to the airport, as they're really not sure what to do once at the airport. They had planned on leaving for the airport at 6:30 am for a 8 am flight. Yeah, I know. I had to explain to them that if they show up at the airport at 7:00 ish, they'll likely not make the 8am flight. Once you get through security and TSA at LAX, that could take over and hour depending on how crowded it is. Granted Tuesday is not a busy travel day, but why take that chance? So they agreed to be here at 5am to caravan over to LAX. I told them I would print out our boarding passes at home and then we just have to check in our luggage and hopefully this will save some time. I don't mind sitting in the airport just chillin' with a cup of coffee and the lastest Celebrity rag. :coffee:

We're in birthday party overkill this week. We have a birthday party this weekend and 2 birthday parties next weekend. On the same day! At least 1 is in the morning and the other is in the evening. I'm surely going to ruin my diet next weekend! I'm only 2.5 pounds from reaching my 15 pound goal. :woohoo: I'll still need to lose another 17 after that goal, but I've set myself to reach that goal before the holidays. Baby steps, people.

Guess what, I got accuweather set up as my homepage for now. :upsidedow They have the 15 day forecast and I now can keep my eye on those numbers. :magnify: It looks like there's a bit of a cooling trend around the 21st. The humidity doesn't look too bad. Let's hope it for minimum humidity. I can handle the heat, it's the humidity that just kills me. :faint:

I'm getting nervous, as I still haven't heard about Maddie's school transfer request. I know that once I get word, I'll have to get everything into the school by 8/23. Well, we'll be gone DUH! So I need to know asap and get that handled right away. I went over to the district office uptown and apparently her transfer request is still pending. I should know this week. I practically attack the mail girl when I hear her coming up the walk! :rotfl: Keep your fingers crossed. Toes, too. Toes would help. :teeth:

Ok, so a couple of days ago the PM's started flying about our pool meet on the morning of the 25th. In case you've forgotten ;) whilst the men are golfing, the wives and kidlets are meeting at the pool. Well, we hadn't set up a meeting time or anything and it was really a thorn in my side as I needed to get my final itinerary in line. Looks like we're to meet at SSR pool around 10-10:30 ish. I'm hoping to meet up with Jo at the DTD boat launch so we can boat over to SSR together to meet up with V and LL. I'm really looking forward to this. I know that we'll all meet up for dinner with S'late later, but I think it'll be nice to have all our kids play together for awhile. :goodvibes

That's all the mumbling I've got for now. Thanks for reading! Hope everyone has a great day!
Peace out! :hippie:

I can feel the adrenaline pouring through the computer!

Just reading your report has me all excited for all of you. I'm jealous that I won't be able to join you all. I would have really loved to do that. I think it would seem like we've always known each other! Please have a toast in my name...PLEASE!!!

How far are you from LAX? I haven't been there in a long long time. I've been lucky enough to fly into ONT the last bunch of times I've flown out there. But now the prices seem cheaper out of LAX. I still check prices all the time. I keep hoping next year will be the year but Rob wants the beach...we'll see...

They had planned on leaving for the airport at 6:30 am for a 8 am flight.
What? Glad you put them right :thumbsup2

I don't mind sitting in the airport just chillin' with a cup of coffee and the lastest Celebrity rag. :coffee:
Me too once you're at the airport you can relax :goodvibes

I'm only 2.5 pounds from reaching my 15 pound goal. :woohoo: I'll still need to lose another 17 after that goal, but I've set myself to reach that goal before the holidays. Baby steps, people.
That's amazing T well done :thumbsup2

I should know this week. I practically attack the mail girl when I hear her coming up the walk! :rotfl: Keep your fingers crossed. Toes, too. Toes would help. :teeth:

T, you ROCK! :cheer2: As you've surely noticed form my lack of accountable PM's I've fallen off-track completely. Thanks for the reminder - one step at a time!

It looks like there's a bit of a cooling trend around the 21st. The humidity doesn't look too bad.

Ah, so you're feeling the pressure now huh??? You're super organized though so don't worry, everything will be fine. I guess it's that natural feeling of " Did I remember everything?"

Oh boy can I relate to the shipping thing. I did some major online shopping the weekend before last and my orders are still trickling in. I was waiting for 8 different shipments and still have 3 to go and it's driving me nuts! One of them I had to actually pay shipping for in order to get my items on time.:sad2: I scored some good deals though so I guess it was worth it.

When are you all getting together for Kona? We have an ADR for dinner there on the 25th and I'm really looking forward to it - those sticky wings look gooood!

So you're getting the kids up at 4:30? Me too. I have a feeling mine will already be awake - that'll be a first for 3 teens that sleep until noon every day.

Glad you finally got your transportation to LAX squared away. Hey, maybe we'll see you on the 105 on the way there!:)

Congrats on almost making it to your goal, you should be very proud of yourself! Baby steps is the way to go so hang in there. I've lost 26 lbs. so far but the rest of what I need to lose will need to wait until after vacation because honey I'm gonna eat what I want (within reason of course).

Ok, so enough chit chat, work is getting in the way of my DISing.:rolleyes1

Toes, Fingers, Eyes, Legs and anything else I can think of will be crossed:thumbsup2

If it makes you feel any better I haven't started packing yet:eek:

That would fly up in our little airport, but if I were going out of Boston, no way! Yikes!

We're in birthday party overkill this week. We have a birthday party this weekend and 2 birthday parties next weekend. On the same day! At least 1 is in the morning and the other is in the evening.

We have one on Thursday, but we've been pretty lucky this summer... The end of the school year, it felt that we had one every week.

I'm only 2.5 pounds from reaching my 15 pound goal. :woohoo: I'll still need to lose another 17 after that goal, but I've set myself to reach that goal before the holidays. Baby steps, people.
