Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

My, oh, my...I leave for a drive to DC and find I'm waaaaaaay behind.
So how did the drive go? Are we there yet? :lmao:
Sorry about the battle with TE. We're going to NY tomorrow to see extended family (both mine and DH). I should have so much dirty laundry by the time I return.....:scared1:
Wow, that sounds like fun. Errrrr, no not really. :lmao: I seriously avoid family reunions. I have a family full of crazy kin! :sad2:
LOVE the hair! It's FAB-U-LOUS!:thumbsup2
Thanks, Kate. I do feel a little Hollywoodwannabe. :rotfl:
OMG, so much to catch up on.
First, sorry I missed Evan's b-day, I wish him a belated one.
Now I love my mom, I'meventaking her to WDW in February, but there are those moments that I fantasize about strangling her, not that I would, but we all have are fantasies.;) End of the day she is a good mom and did right by me.
Whew! Glad to know I'm not the only with that fantasy! :lmao:

Oh no T, do you live with your Mum and Dad? Or do they just pop in constantly? :rotfl2: So pleased she's lightening up!
Yup, we all live in one big happy dwelling. So you can see how uncomfortable it can be when there's bad blood going on.

Not so Patiently waiting ....I am sure Waldo has done something Bad by Now....Come on you can tell us....We promise....Not to tell anyone else!!!!!

No Really you have our Word.......

Ok,,,so we may spread small rumors but we will change the Names to Protect the Innocent!!!!!

:lmao: :lmao:

Ok, just a quickie!

This morning, Waldo got up super early to make breakfast for everyone. Nice, right? Well, he attempted to make pancakes. I say attempted because they were more like biscuit cakes. They were so dense and heavy. They stuck to the roof of our mouths! Coffee was out of the question. You needed a great big glass of milk to get those bad boys down! :lmao: So anyway, he's showing Maddie and Evan how to butter and syrup their pancakes, right? So he tells them "See you pour lots and lots of syrup on your pancakes, just like that willy ol' stupid Pooh. I almost choked and Maddie straight out corrects him. "Um, Waldo, don't you mean silly old Pooh Bear?"

:rolleyes1 Waldo's always sticking his foot in his mouth.

I almost spit diet coke onto the dog:rotfl:

Why it's all in the details, right? I know how much you all love the details, so here we go!

Let's start with our FDM equation: 16 days - weekends, holidays, birthdays, today and travel day ='s (wait, does the birthday have to one of the travelers, because my DNeph's birthday is next Thursday :confused3 ) Ok so let's see.... that puts us at 9 days!!! Well, we won't count tomorrow, since technically it is Monday, in the UK, where Jo is and since she's apart of this trip report, then we won't count it, since we're not supposed to count today, which is Sunday, but we're pretending it's Monday. KWIM?

I started getting the kids backpacks aka Entertainment Packs ready this weekend. I realized that we still don't have a portable DVD player since the one we did have took a digger and has since been discarded. I started shopping around on the internet and found one that rated pretty high on Amazon. I ordered today only to find out with free shippping it won't arrive until 8/22. Uhhhh.... yeah that won't work for me. I had to pay for shipping, something I dispise doing in order to get it in time for travel. I should have done this weeks ago. :sad2: Ok, with that task completed, I hit the back packs again and found lots of goodies for Maddie. I've been buying little things here and there to store in her pack for the 5 hour flight. Besides her Gameboy, I found lots of little activities for her pass time.
tripreportpics002.jpg

She loves stickers and coloring and stuff like that, so she'll be ok. Now Evan, he's a whole other problem. The DVD player will keep him occupied for at least 1 movie, then we're in trouble. I do plan on giving him some night-night juice and since he'll have to be up at 4:30 am, my hopes are for a sleeping child for at least 2 of the 5 hours. :teeth:
One of Andy's aunt's bought Maddie this cute little Princess Notebook/Pen set for Christmas and I forgot I had put it away for her use as an Autograph Book. I found it when I was cleaning out our travel stuff drawer and personalized it a bit. I thought I'd tie some cute ribbons to the spiral edge to jazz it up a bit.
tripreportpics003.jpg

I also hit the Dollar Tree again, still looking for the Disney sunblock and suction cups, but haven't been lucky there. Oh well. :confused3 I did find an over the door organizer and a mini dish soap container. I'll be needing that as I do still carry sippy cups for Evan for his water and milk and I'll need to clean them in the hotel room. I just don't trust that kid with a water bottle or a straw. How does a straw instantly become a weapon? And why is the water bottle more fun to dump out that to drink? :headache: So now my "just in case" suitcase is pretty much complete. I think the only thing I need is a pack of Pull-Ups for Evan.
tripreportpics004.jpg

I've been reading here on another trip report how a certain Mama has some elevator shoes for her daughter to get her over the 40 inch mark. Allegedly. :rolleyes1 Well, I can't very well throw some wedgie heels on my son and call it a day, now can I? Well, how about if I put some foam lifts in his socks? To wear with his Van or his crocs? Allegedly. :rolleyes1 Like this:
tripreportpics006.jpg

Now I ask you.... is this the same as putting wedge heels on a female child? :confused3 I'm just curious. That's all. Allegedly.
Hmmmm... lookie here, Evan reaches the goal height. :rolleyes1
tripreportpics001.jpg

I've got to make a run over to Disneyland soon as I'm in need of those clear pouches that hang on the Lanyards. They're only $4 here, and I think I read somewhere else that they're $6 in WDW. Well, if I have to buy 6 of them, I'd rather pay $24 than $36. Besides, then I'll get to ride the Nemo subs again. ;)

HAIR UPDATE:
So my fake hair is holding up pretty well. Except for the color. I've been in the sun and the pool and they're fading.... they're fading fast. I'm too blonde now. What to do, what to do? TE has a hair appt. on Thursday with my cousin, so I might ask my cousin if she's up for the challenge of coloring my extensions without coloring my hair and then coloring my hair without coloring my extensions, KWIM? It's all so complicated. Oh and now I have to go out and buy a new flat iron as my old one is about to take a crap. I'm thinking of trying the IMO CHI from Sally's as recommended by V. I'm not feeling the $150 price tag of the real deal at this point. Gotta keep my clams in line for the trip. :lmao:

Waldo was looking over the menu's for all our ADR's. I printed them all out and put them in "The Notebook" for everyone to view. Well, I'm getting a little worried about the ADR I made for them whilst I'm out with my gal pals at Kona. I booked the The Garden Grill. I thought it would be a fun character meal to help keep the kids occupied, since I won't be there. Well, I'm just not feeling the menu anymore. I jumped on the phone with Dining 15 minutes before they closed today. I tried everywhere for a party of 5. Chef Mickey's? No. Concourse Steakhouse? No. Liberty Tree Tavern? No. They're pretty much stuck at The Garden Grill. I will try to find them something else when we get there, maybe someone will cancel. No ADR's for you! I guess Dining has put a lid on my ADR shuffle once and for all! :dance3:

At dinner tonight, we were all talking about packing. Waldo was boasting about how everything he needs fits perfectly in his little teeny tiny suitcase. I swear he's like Felix the Cat. :confused3 Well, he asks Andy how many pair of shorts he's bringing. Andy says he's bring around 7 pairs. Well, Waldo had only planned to bring about 4 pairs. No wonder he can bring such a little case! :lmao: He's going to be spending most of his free time doing laundry! :laundy:

Wow, look at the goodies! Way to go! :woohoo:

Sorry about the hair stuff. Hair is such a pain. I have nice thick hair, but refuse to "do" it and so finding an attractive yet easy style... And my greys are getting more and more noticeable... :rolleyes1

Waldo is too funny. :) Maybe he doesn't get clothes too dirty and won't do laundry, either. ;)

I hope Evan will sleep on the plane. Woody did sleep, but Buzz didn't, which was kind of a pain. I wanted to sleep, but if he didn't...

My oh my, what a little shopping can do for forgiveness... just saying... mean, I've never done that or anything...;) ;)

Those shoes for Evan are great! Did you need to stuff them or anything? He must be really tall! My Tink would never, ever, ever hit that mark...unless I held her up to it.;)

I swear you are THE MOST organized momma around! I love all of those stickers for Maddie. I remember the days that stickers were all that and then some.

Ohhhhh...the DO! You go girl! What fun, whilst it lasts.

"Um, Waldo, don't you mean silly old Pooh Bear?"
:rotfl2:

Well, we won't count tomorrow, since technically it is Monday, in the UK, where Jo is and since she's apart of this trip report, then we won't count it, since we're not supposed to count today, which is Sunday, but we're pretending it's Monday. KWIM?
Good thinking and of course you so have to include me, it doesn't work the other way though I'm not going back a day :rotfl2:

I had to pay for shipping, something I dispise doing in order to get it in time for travel.
 Me too I hate postage :headache:

goodies for Maddie. I've been buying little things here and there to store in her pack for the 5 hour flight.
Wow lucky girl thats a lot of goodies :goodvibes

I do plan on giving him some night-night juice and since he'll have to be up at 4:30 am, my hopes are for a sleeping child for at least 2 of the 5 hours. :teeth:
Oooh sounds good can I have some for my flight? I mean for me :rotfl2:

I just don't trust that kid with a water bottle or a straw. How does a straw instantly become a weapon?
Boys :sad2:

Well, how about if I put some foam lifts in his socks? To wear with his Van or his crocs? Allegedly. :rolleyes1 Like this:
I think they're better than the girls wedges because they can't be seen, allegedly :rotfl2:

Hmmmm... lookie here, Evan reaches the goal height. :rolleyes1
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

That's good FDM :thumbsup2

It's gotta be a boy thing. Jimmy does the same thing.

:rolleyes1 We know nothing

1st off woo hoo to 15 more days...i feel as if I am going.

Ok so if you cant see the "lift" in the shoes then it must be better then a wedge shoe for a girl...allegedly that is:rolleyes1 of course..

Love all the stuff for Maddie to keep her occupied on the plane.
Our flight is only 2 hrs to MCO but I have 2 boys to keep occupied. DS5 not so bad will watch dvd or play video games. DS2 NO SUCH LUCK!! He has caught on to the nite-nite juice and will no longer take it:sad1: The only thing that seems to work is goldfish crackers and stickers. By the time we get off that plane it is totally redecorated with stickers..woops;)

FIngers crossed for a better ADR than Garden Grill.Im sure when you get there you can make a switcheroo.

Oh and my DS2 would agree whole-heartedly that dumping water is definately more fun than just drinking it.

Hope your hair works out for the best. I cant believe its turning blonder so soon.

Keep us posted

Yup, we all live in one big happy dwelling. So you can see how uncomfortable it can be when there's bad blood going on.
How are you and TE doing??Should i assume the shopping trip went well and you have some new shoes??
It must be so hard to live under the same roof when there is a spat going on.
I see that Waldo made breakfast the other day...So do you have separate houses/apartments or are you literally in the same house??

Allegedly...I think that padding the shoes was a great idea. Allegedly.

And cheers to you for the night night juice! :teeth:

I love all of this stuff. Did Maddie get any special Gameboy? My MIL is going to buy Brookie one for Christmas this year. She had bought the boys Spongebob Gameboys. So, I was wondering if there are any cute ones for girls?

Hmmmm... lookie here, Evan reaches the goal height. :rolleyes1
tripreportpics001.jpg
Looking good! :thumbsup2

Oh, and the hair? Go red highlights. Not that I'm partial to red or anything. Just sayin'....:rolleyes1

That looks like one happy camper! :goodvibes

::yes::

TE has a hair appt. on Thursday with my cousin, so I might ask my cousin if she's up for the challenge of coloring my extensions without coloring my hair and then coloring my hair without coloring my extensions, KWIM?
If my coloring Sat. is any indication, this should be possible. My stylist seperated my hair to put color on the pieces she'd lightened last time and lightener on the stuff that wasn't touched last time. I'd think the same can be done with your extensions!

I'm thinking of trying the IMO CHI from Sally's as recommended by V. I'm not feeling the $150 price tag of the real deal at this point. Gotta keep my clams in line for the trip. :lmao:
And you'll be very happy with the Sally's one! :thumbsup2

I booked the The Garden Grill. I thought it would be a fun character meal to help keep the kids occupied, since I won't be there. Well, I'm just not feeling the menu anymore.
FWIW, I had very low expectations going into GG the first time as the menu wasn't really singing to me either. But everything was SO flavorful! I mena really, really good. And, since I haven't gotten to it yet in my TR, our second GG meal in May was just as yummy :thumbsup2

Well, Waldo had only planned to bring about 4 pairs. No wonder he can bring such a little case! :lmao: He's going to be spending most of his free time doing laundry! :laundy:
What's worse - maybe he's NOT! :scared: :rotfl2:

Sorry about the hair stuff. Hair is such a pain. I have nice thick hair, but refuse to "do" it and so finding an attractive yet easy style... And my greys are getting more and more noticeable...
Bragging, are you CE? ;)
Waldo is too funny. Maybe he doesn't get clothes too dirty and won't do laundry, either.
I know he won't do laundry. He doesn't know how to work a washing machine. I already know TE's going to end up doing it for him. :sad2:

My oh my, what a little shopping can do for forgiveness... just saying... mean, I've never done that or anything...
TE actually took Maddie back to school shopping for me. So that's even better than saying "I'm sorry." :teeth:
Those shoes for Evan are great! Did you need to stuff them or anything? He must be really tall! My Tink would never, ever, ever hit that mark...unless I held her up to it.;)
If I were going to stuff them, I'd use craft foam board. :rolleyes1

:rotfl2:
Good thinking and of course you so have to include me, it doesn't work the other way though I'm not going back a day :rotfl2:
:thumbsup2
I think they're better than the girls wedges because they can't be seen, allegedly :rotfl2:
:teeth: ITA!
Ok so if you cant see the "lift" in the shoes then it must be better then a wedge shoe for a girl...allegedly that is:rolleyes1 of course..
I think you're right, T. It's really just for Test Track. That's the only thing he wants to ride that we don't have here. BTMRR and Splash he can do here after he "officially" hits the 40 inches.
Boy are more difficult to keep entertained! I did buy Maddie a decent sized foam poster board to "decorate" with all her stickers.

How are you and TE doing??Should i assume the shopping trip went well and you have some new shoes??
It must be so hard to live under the same roof when there is a spat going on.
I see that Waldo made breakfast the other day...So do you have separate houses/apartments or are you literally in the same house??
Oh, I forgot to mention. I now exist in TE's world again.:lmao: She ended up taking Maddie school shopping, so I'm going to take that as an apology. :teeth:
And when I say we all live in one big dwelling, I mean we all live in 1 big house. There are 2 master rooms and 2 bedrooms, my family takes up 3 of those rooms and there are 3 bathrooms. TE & Waldo have theirs, the kids and I have our and Andy has his. It works for us as there are plenty of quiet spots to get away from each other, if we have/need to. :goodvibes

Allegedly...I think that padding the shoes was a great idea. Allegedly.
Me too! ;)

Sorry...but doesn't all this FDM make for an even longer wait??? :sad2:
It's fun fuzzy Disney mind games, DM! :lmao:

I love all of this stuff. Did Maddie get any special Gameboy? My MIL is going to buy Brookie one for Christmas this year. She had bought the boys Spongebob Gameboys. So, I was wondering if there are any cute ones for girls?
Maddie has a pearl pink one. We also got the pink carry case and the pink game holder. :)

If my coloring Sat. is any indication, this should be possible. My stylist seperated my hair to put color on the pieces she'd lightened last time and lightener on the stuff that wasn't touched last time. I'd think the same can be done with your extensions!
Oh yes, I know it can be done, but is she up for the challenge. :rotfl2: That's the mystery... we'll soon find out, though!

FWIW, I had very low expectations going into GG the first time as the menu wasn't really singing to me either. But everything was SO flavorful! I mena really, really good. And, since I haven't gotten to it yet in my TR, our second GG meal in May was just as yummy :thumbsup2
Well get on with that part, woman!
J/k! :lmao:
