Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

LOL, I just noticed what SharkB8's siggie says:lmao:

He is my hero too, I think Tracy needs to start a Waldo thread so we can all keep up with his escapades.

Be sure to post a link to that Waldo thread. I'm so there!

I'll admit it. It's killing me. This darn ticker thing. It's killing me. We're down to less than 5 weeks and they d a y s a r e d r a g g i n g o n. Doesn't Father Time know that I have a trip to Disney World on the horizon? :confused3 C'mon... help a sista out here!

I told Andy a little white lie today. In case you don't remember, Andy works nights. Which puts a damper on any bedroom activites I may or may not have planned. Uh-uh... mind outta the gutter there, Jo. ;) I asked Andy to please sleep in Maddie's room today so I could "clean" my closet. That's code for pack. Yup, I did it. I pulled out the big guns and opened my suitcases up and packed. :sad2: I know. 30 something days to go and I'm completely packed. I didn't mean to completely pack. Oh heck, yes I did.::yes:: I packed and I'm proud! I honestly meant to organize my drawers. I've been buying so much stuff, I couldn't close the drawers in my closet. I had to go through everything and figure out what I had and what was still needed. Somehow, I think I went over board with the travel sized shampoo and conditioners. :rolleyes1 I highly doubt I'll need 24. Yes, 24! I don't know what I was thinking. And now I think I'm just going to bring regular sized ones. I also bought 16 body washes. Now, in my defense they're all different. Some are shimmery body wash... how fun is that? And some are regular, some are manly(for Andy) and some are Hello Kitty (for Maddie ;) , maybe) Do you see the pattern? I buy everything in 2's. It's the OCD in me. Imagine my frustration when things are 3 for $_? I have to buy 6! :lmao:

I still need to get plane activities. Target had Disney paperback books at the Dollar Spot, so I got a few for the kids. I also found Disney Princess magnetic paper dolls that I had bought for Maddie last year, but forgot about them. I put all that stuff in the backpack. (Yes, I even packed the backpack.:guilty: )

I also decided to work on my tanless calves. I think they're informed calves and they don't like sun. They must have an interal SPF that prevents me from tanning them. Well, I showed them. I found an old bottle of "Maui Babe" browning oil that I got in Hawaii. :teeth: Yup, I cooked my calves today. :cool2: Hey it worked. I'm still a shade off, but I can take care of that in the next few days. :thumbsup2:

The Ducks came over last night. They wanted to go over the itinerary again. :headache: I showed Donald my handy dandy touring plan on a ring. You may recall:

TRupdatepics009.jpg

And he laughed and said "You really are a focker!" Hmmmm....:scratchin: not sure if that was a compliment, but yes, I accept my focker ways with great lime green pride. Oh yeah, speaking of which .... guess what I found! Lime green undies!!! They're awesome! Of course I had to buy them! :teeth: Sorry... where was I? Ah, yes, the itinerary. I also told The Ducks a little white lie. I told them Teppanyaki was closed and that it doesn't reopen until after we leave. What? It's in their best interest, I promise. :angel: We have too many awesome Teppan joints around here. What we don't have are belly dancer joints. So I told Donald we'd go see the belly dancer, instead. He was just fine with that! :lmao: Like you're surprised....:rolleyes1

So I'm here at a crossroads and I need your input. My hair.... :scared: I'm really debating on what to do. It's to my waist now, and long layered. It's kinda like Merediths on Grey's Anatomy. Wavy, not curly. I'm really wanting to cut it, maybe bra length? I'm skerred! The good thing with it being this long is I can put it in cute girly braids or a pony tail if it annoys me. I'm a tad worried about the humidity but you know what, last year my hair loved the humidity. :confused3 Go figure. I do know that I desperatly need some highlights. The color is currently a medium coffee brown with some reddish golden tones. I think some caramel highlight would be a welcomed addition. Again... :confused3 I'm not sure.

I also still haven't heard what school Maddie will be attending Kinder at. I'm kinda in limbo here. If she attends the school I petitioned for, they have a free dress policy. If she attends the other school, they have uniforms. So, I can't do any school shopping until I know. :sad2: I called the office today and was told that they are working on the admissions now and that I should hear something by 1st week of August. Oh bother! Between the school district and my TA, I'm stressing out, baybees! Still no final docs from Disney! :faint:

TTFN, TTYL, TAFN, TGIF (tomorrow) and LY,MI! :grouphug:
:rotfl:

Oh Tracy, Tracy, Tracy.
Where to begin??? Allow me to first state that I am proud that you came here to confess your little lies. They seem perfectly harmless, and rather practical to me. Secondly, as for the packing, you know I am lost in the way of the packer, however, If I had the clothes to pack and not have to run around nekkid for a month, I might do it, too. Whatever makes life easy, right?

BUT, don't the resorts have shampoo and body wash dispensers installed in the showers? I know they DID. But I can't for the life of me remember if they were at POR last August:confused3 'Cause 24 bottles of stuff seems like a tad bit much. Just a hair....

AND, speaking of which. Mine is driving me crazy, too. It's to the middle of my back and I HATE it. My vote is for cutting it. Change is good. Even at that length you will still be able to pull it back, put it up, braid it and the works.

SO, I'd go for the color and cut.

:goodvibes

I can't believe you're packed already! What are you going to do in the next few weeks?? :rotfl: There's always more stuff to add though!

Wow! To your waist, girl?! My hair is soooo thick that would kill me! I think if you were to cut it bra length (I'm assuming you mean where the girls are!) it would still be long enough to do braids and ponytails and all that good stuff. I also think that it would still love the humidity at that length if it loved it at the longer length. Have you ever thought of playing up the red highlights you have? Add some red lowlights and caramel highlights and it would be gorgeous!

All this potty training talk got me thinking about how/when I trained my boys. My first two have always been big for their age, so people expected them to be walking/talking/trained/reading....sooner than "normal". I had my second son in a WDW bathroom when he was 2.
I did a double take when I read this...I must have missed the end of the sentence at first :rotfl2: Boy you sure are a Disney Fanatic if you wouldn't leave Disney to go to the hospital to have your son! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

:woohoo: :banana: WE ARE TAGGED PEOPLE!!!! :banana: :woohoo:

My TA finally emailed me back!!! Our ME luggage tags are in!! Our final documents aren't in yet, so rather than make the trek to her new office twice, I'm going to wait until everythings in and grab it all!! Bwahahahahaha!!!

I think she's not liking me these days. I sensed a bit of sarcasim in her email. :scratchin: Hmmmmm.... I may have to banish her services after this trip. :stir: The nerve! :rolleyes:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Yaaa congratulations that your tags are in!!!! :cool1: And your final documents are delayed because......you were still making changes to them 20 min ago??? :confused: ;)
I agree...banish away! :thumbsup2

:rolleyes1 Ummmm...Tracy?

Page 2?

NOTHING today??

popcorn::
I feel bad I havent checked up regularly enough....partly my fault for not posting!! Will you forgive me Trac??? :guilty:

Tracey,

I am 26 days out and haven't pulled the suiecases out:scared1: I better do the tomorrow. I am working from home tomorrow:rolleyes1 so I should be able to get lots of stuff done *yeah, yeah, work, sure that's it. On the plus side I showed Jim (DH) your post and he FINALLY realizes there is a method to my madness, and the piles of stuff in the middle room:lmao:

Yeah you are Packed & i agree w/sharkB8HooHaHa Don't the resorts have shampoo in the rooms Now? & to Hair or not to Hair........ I'm Clueless:rotfl:

:cool2:

Don't cut the hair! Unless it's still long enough to pull back, of course. You will be very sorry if you have to be really doing your hair in Disney all of the time. I wish I had my long hair back when we were down there as I hated having to curl my hair every stinking day.

And where is that picture of the lime green panties? :lmao:

~~~~BREAKING NEWS!!!~~~~
You guys are NOT going to believe this. I even thought it was a prank! I just got off the phone with Donald. He was just returning home from another visit to the ER. And no, not for his knee...:sad2:
This time he was cleaning his kitchen table and he reached under and jammed his middle finger, tearing the tendion (sp?) that holds his upper bone to his middle middle bone. His finger was sticking straight up in a 90 degree angle and he was in crazy white hot, almost ready to pass out pain!:scared: He heads to the ER and finds out he tore the tendion and will need to have pins put in if it doesn't heal itself in the next week or so.
OMG! This is crazy! He is sooooo accident prone, he really should just be the boy in the bubble for the next 5 weeks! It's so ridiculous, I can't stop laughing!
Did I ever tell you about the time they went to Yosemite and he accidently touched Poison Ivy. Well, then he decided to teach the kids how to whistle with your 2 fingers in your mouth. And then he decided he needed to take a whiz out amoungst the trees. Yup.... Poison Ivy on his lips, his winky and his hands! :lmao:
Ok you guys are going to think I'm lying, but I swear to you I am not!! I just got another call from Donald and they are going back to the ER.... my Dneph, Dewey fell and cut his leg open and needs stitches! :headache:
I'm sorry, but I can't help but :rotfl2: This is utter craziness!!! :crazy:
I think I'm going to change my flight.... I'm afraid to get on a plane with my brother and his family!! :rolleyes1
Hmmmm...the middle finger eh???
Sounds like he maybe overused it a little and is being punished...
OK First I need to tell you about my niece Erin, I think she may be a Focker in training. We are leaving in 5 weeks for our Adventures by Disney trip to Yellowstone and Grand Tetons and she is already packing.:goodvibes
Darn that kid makes me proud. Both her parents are non-planners, do everything last minute:eek:
As for your family, I would definately look at changing planes, you sure you want a week in Disney with those folks.
For the hair, wow, that's some long hair, mine is so thick I could never have it that long. I agree that if you can still pull it in a pony tail then go for it. We will want pics, of course.
Well, I'm at work and shoudn't even be on the Dis, but hey it is Friday and my boss isn't around;)
I'll admit it. It's killing me. This darn ticker thing. It's killing me. We're down to less than 5 weeks and they d a y s a r e d r a g g i n g o n.
I'm with you. I'm so desperate for a vacation it's ridiculous. I may really need to add a day... :rolleyes1
Somehow, I think I went over board with the travel sized shampoo and conditioners. :rolleyes1 I highly doubt I'll need 24. Yes, 24!
OMG, you've become my mother!! :rotfl: No joke, she brought 3 gallon-size ziplocks FULL of travel bottles for a 5 day trip to Paris :eek:
I found an old bottle of "Maui Babe" browning oil that I got in Hawaii. :teeth:
Makes me think of the old formula Bain de Soleil that baked and stained at the same time :thumbsup2
So I told Donald we'd go see the belly dancer, instead. He was just fine with that! :lmao: Like you're surprised....:rolleyes1
:rotfl2:
So I'm here at a crossroads and I need your input. My hair....
It'll definitely be long enough to pull back?? If so, then I say go for it!
I also still haven't heard what school Maddie will be attending Kinder at. I'm kinda in limbo here.
Do they do the Choice program out there, too? Ours will be ending soon - everyone hates it here. :sad2:
You guys are NOT going to believe this. I even thought it was a prank! I just got off the phone with Donald. He was just returning home from another visit to the ER. ...
Ok you guys are going to think I'm lying, but I swear to you I am not!! I just got another call from Donald and they are going back to the ER.... my Dneph, Dewey fell and cut his leg open and needs stitches! :headache:
Good grief! I swear, it's like they're purposely trying to torture you! :hug:
Did I ever tell you about the time they went to Yosemite and he accidently touched Poison Ivy. Well, then he decided to teach the kids how to whistle with your 2 fingers in your mouth. And then he decided he needed to take a whiz out amoungst the trees.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I am soooo sorry about the Ducks....in your notes to you have the closest ER to WDW???
As for the hair I say donate it....it may go a tad bit shorter than you would ever do...but change is good!! And helping out kiddos that need some confidience...what could go wrong with that!!
PACKED....wow...you are so organized!!
I think you really are making all of this up ;) . How can anyone be that accident prone (said from the girl who has fallen down the front cement steps of her home while holding her baby not just once, but twice...breaking a foot the first time and spraining the ankle the second time...thank God the babies were fine).
Is this the same brother who is treating you to Hawaii? :scared:
