OOOh...that reminds me...DH went to the hardware store to get me some spray weed killing stuff and I asked him to get me a pair of gloves and what did he bring me back???? LIME GREEN GARDENING GLOVES!! He was so proud of himself...
There's hope for him yet!!!

Aha! He is turning to the Green side! :

Used to be a SAHM. Little do the hubbies know that we can be super creative with the budget. Once shortly before our first trip to WDW my husband complained about having left over leftovers I said, " Hush up and eat your Top Ramen, it's good for you!"
I've also had a few hits to the Disney budget this year but have been able to work some OT to compensate. In fact I'm at work right now. Love that time and a half!
Looking forward to the next installment.

DH knows better not to complain about anything! Once he complained his steak was tough, guess what I did, I snatched it off his plate and chucked in the trash can. The look on his face was classic! I think I was seriously PMSing that day. Needless to say, he never complains about anything anymore!

It was actually a very beautiful day here too and we didn't need our coats Maddie sounds so sweet has she got her own gardening gear?

Some how, Donald got wind of the prospect of free dining. I think it was from me bragging when we returned from our September trip. Me and my big mouth. Well, Donald thinks he’s entitled to free dining. If fact, he is most sure Disney will offer free dining again. For the entire month of January, he called me. “Hey, have they offered free dining yet?” “No, Donald, like I told you yesterday and the day before that, IF they offer free dining, it won’t be until early April.” I’m not kidding when I say he called at least 4 times a week. I finally told him, if you were a Disney VISA card holder, you’d probably find out before the general public. So, Donald applied and received his Disney VISA. Thank God! He no longer calls to ask if free dining has been offered yet. He now calls me to inform me (as if I didn’t know) that free dining has not been offered. See what happens when you give someone a little bit of knowledge?
So, we have a few things pending on the offer of free dining. First, we booked our trip though AAA and our lovely TA from our last trip, Norma. If free dining is offered, Norma is going to have to call for me and make the changes. West coast time will come into play here, so we may not get POFQ. I know I’m one step ahead of myself. Or am I? How many people are going to jump on free dining like a lion to its prey, I ask you? I’m always working “Plan B” in the back of my mind. It’s a scary, place, my friends. I may act low key, but my brain is racing. It’s on fi-yahhh, baby. Sometimes at night, when it’s quiet and I am alone with my thoughts, my poor brain is just going to town. It can’t stop. I keep a notepad under my bed, to jot down all the things going on. I keep it under my bed, ‘cause if anyone found it, I would surely be committed.
Sorry, back on topic. Anyway, should the POFQ no longer have rooms for the free dining offer, should free dining be offered, I have devised a list of resorts that would be acceptable to change to.
1. Wilderness Lodge
2. Animal Kingdom Lodge
3. PO Riverside
In Tracy’s perfect world, free dining will be offered and the POFQ will be sold out, but the WL will be available. One can hope.


Turning these fockers into FOCKERS.

In case you didn’t know, I love the FOCKER thread. It’s full of fun, geeky, silly people, who love to have fun. I purchased a grip of TEAM FOCKER WATCH lanyards for my family. Everyone got one and I have intentions of creating cute little gift bags for everyone containing WDW necessities. The bag would include a TFW lanyard, and FP pouch, lip balm, travel sized sun block, mints/gum, personal fan, and anything else I can come up with before August. I’m going to ship a box down, so it will be a total surprise. Part of the surprise was unveiled as the Duck family came over one afternoon as I was in the process of putting my poor ‘puter back together. Donald spotted the bag o’lanyards and stated how cool they were and that he wanted one. Well, that was an easy sell. I gave them the whole run down of the FOCKER thread worked and the FOCKER sign. He’s totally in. He even wants me to order the TFW t-shirts from Cafépress. You got it, another geek in my family.
So The Enabler has been with me for a FOCKER CROC drop and is well versed in fockerism. She is huge fan of Lime, so she was an easy convert. She loves to see the pics on the CROC thread.
Waldo on the other hand, thinks he is well versed. Every time I make a CROC drop, I have to explain the situation to him. I showed him the CROC drop list and he doesn’t understand why someone would want to take a CROC on vacation. He won’t be an easy, but he will wear a TFW lanyard and he’ll like it!
DH on the other hand doesn’t care to be well versed. Poor guy has no idea how deep I am submerged in the FOCKER lifestyle. Whenever I mention TFW, he shakes his head, but he goes along with it. He tolerates my insanity, as long as I’m happy. ‘Cause if Mama ain’t happy, nobody’s happy. He did go with me to the Utahmama CROC drop. Once he met her and her family he realized she’s a normal geek, like me, and he was okay with everything. DH realized there is a whole fockmunity when Utahmama DH asked him “Is she on the there all the time, too?” I asked him if he will wear his lanyard and he agreed, but will not FOCK anyone! Well, at least he’s on the fence.

So, I think that brings you all up to date. If not, I’ll pull a Pulp Fiction, like Lauralee mentioned. This, in fact happens to be one of my favorite movies. We watched it while Daisy was giving birth to Dewey. Powke chops is gooood, bacon is goooood. I still wonder what the heck is in the suitcase…..

Have you read that Disney are going to do some Pirate & Princess parties in August? They haven't announced any dates yet, but I'm sure between us we'll know as soon as they do

I'm kinda torn about that. We're going no matter what. So, if they don't offer free dining, maybe lots of people will cancel and the parks will be completely empty. A girls got a right to dream, eh?

I ahve to say, even standing up by the fence, I never smelled the presence of animals. And the rooms are waaaay far back, so I wouldn't worry.

I didn't smell any "animal" smell at all...it's an awesome place to stay...there's a smell in the lobby - kind of like spices...but not strong, I don't think, and definitely does not smell like you're at a farm or something...

OMG - quick, short hijack and then I'll return you to your regularly scheduled Pre-Trip:

We took Michael to a local carnival a couple of years ago and me and the little man rode "The Scrambler" and he laughed his butt off the whole time and kept yelling "THIS IS AWESOME!!", etc...We were nearing the last big spin and he yelled "MOM - THIS RIDE IS SO AWESOME IT MADE ME FART!!"

When we got home that night and I got him undressed he had a big ol' skidmark in his underwear...it was THAT awesome!

I don't know why, but I still laugh about that and therefore have subjected you all to disgusting humor!!

Tracy WDWmagic have said and it's been confirmed by ADR CM's that the P & P dates are August - 11, 15, 18, 21, 24, 28, 31, and September 3 - 2007.

Not sure what to do as 15th and 18th we're there anyway and the crowds will probably be worse on 18th as it's a saturday 21st we're off shopping so will be too tired, 24th is a Friday so ditto the Saturday and then we're gone so I think the 15th it has to be We will just have to have a big nap break before our 5pm CP ADR.

Hope one of those dates suits you, also do you reckon TGM is going to change his best days now and screw up all of our plans and ADR's?????

Hi There! Just found your TR and am very excited because we will be at WDW during the same time you all will be there! Will be with a GG, too! There will be only 8 but I am also the planner. My DS and his DW and her DS and DGS will be joining me and my twin DGDs and we will be staying at the ALSMUS. Trying to do this planning is really hard as they live in NC and I am in NY!
Trying to find airline tickets for the 3 of us is a royal pain!!! Because the others live in Charlotte, they have no problem with flights and/or price! Right now it looks like we are going to have to drive 2 hours, spend the night and take a flight out in the moring. Cannot get anything near here!!!

I have made the ADRs only to have to change them because they found another place that they would like to try!!!! Did I tell you that DS hasn't been to WDW since he was 15, his stepson, since he was 5 and of course, the grandson has never been!!

Anyway, am looking forward to more of your trip report as it is helping me to cope with my planning and giving me more ideas.
