Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

Sorry about the injuries  and need for all those ECV's...egads...how will you get three EVC's and a stroller on the buses? :confused3 I am not worried about the parks per say...the bungi cord idea and roping off parade spots sounds perfect  .... or do you not need the EVC's at the hotel? Hmmmm this is a dilemma for which you will need prayers and pixie dust! pixiedust:

DLAND MAMA - I just started my spreadsheet for Sept. And I've been shopping. I thought you would be proud.
::yes:: Mama's proud!! I love spreadsheets!!!
Maybe they make a 2 seater? Just a thought. I hope he recovers uber fast! 2 ECV's may = trouble. Slow trouble, but trouble.
:rotfl2: A tandem ECV!! :rotfl:

Oooh T I love Jen's idea of a tandem ECV
Me too! :lmao:
V's right - you won't lack for storage space, but hopefully he'll be A-OK before the trip.
I'm trying, really trying to look on the bright side. Hey I'm Mrs. Brightside!:upsidedow Anyone know the song?

I must have missed it somewhere...are you staying at POR?
Actually we're at POFQ.

If so, then reading my TR will be good for you!

I'm reading.... just waiting for an update. :rolleyes1

Le Cellier is so yummo!!!! We would do it twice next time.
We loved it last year and is one of our repeats for this year as well as Boma! :thumbsup2

Ok so heres the plan...you rent 1 ECV & 2 Wheel Chairs & then you have Waldo pull TE & Donald with a rope!....it will save money & give Waldo something to do instead of wandering off!!
What a sight that'd be, eh? :rotfl2:
Oh no.........a busted knee for Donald.
You all will make quite a sight with 3 ecv's & strollers for the kids!!!!!!!!!!!
I know! I'm losing my back-up stroller pushers! :confused3

Everything will work out just fine. Besides, should make for a very entertaining TR!
True that, S'late. True that. ::yes::
Man what a bummer, sending some healing vibes.
Thanks Sabrina! :goodvibes
Oh Boy!!that stinks. I will send some pixiedust: so hopefully DOnald will recover quickly. If not it will make for a GREAT TR.
Try to look at the bright side tho, with 3 ECV and 2 strollers you can take up lots of prime real estate for parades and such.
Keep us posted.
:thumbsup2
Does workers compensation cover that since it was a company team? ;)
You'd think, eh? :sad2:

I've just had a thought, you won't be able to secretly stalk me now with all those ECV's :lmao: I'll see you all coming from miles away :rotfl:
Did I fail to mention we'll be renting camoflauge ECV's? :teeth:

Oh no, we'll only rent ECV's in the parks. Waldo and TE only need them for AK and Epcot. They'll walk the other parks. Hopefully we'll just have to get Donald a wheel chair and a GAC!
Thanks for your well wishes, Cathy! :goodvibes

OH NO T, just getting caught up, I think S'late has a great idea of roping off your own VIP section for parades and fireworks. :lmao:

I'm sure with your UBER planning this will all work out for you:grouphug:

I think I'm going to create a new rule at my house.

No physical activity that might come close to injury for four weeks prior to all trips.

I hope Donald heals quickly.:goodvibes

Well, I was going to make some joke about the walking wounded but after the day the jcc's have had I have decided against this....Let me just say UGH! Not as bad as you, and all illnesses shoul dbe goine by the time leave for WDW in 33 days, 11, and 37 minutes (which I think in FDM is like tomorrow or something:confused3 )

Last night the dog start having blood in her stool (Gross I know - If I offend I apoligze) DH calls vet today gets a 9:45 appointment. Goes upstairs to dress DS who has red blotches all over his stomach (That weren't there at 6:00am) Takes dog to vet, she has pancreaitis(sp?). Takes Ds to peditrician - chicken pox. I was ready to kill the Doctor because why did I bother to get the vaccine if he has the chicken pox:mad: She then informs me that it is not a true vaccine, but will prevent it from being a very serious case...whatever. It just seem like when it rains it pours....

Sorry for rambling, hope Donald is better before the trip. I like the idea of a ECV train, you could even attach the strollers to the back and free yourself up for the impirtant things....adult beverages and food:thumbsup2

What a day! Speaking of adult beverages, I hope you were able to relax a bit after this one.

When I took my oldest two boys to their annual drs appointments they both had to have a chicken pox "booster". The Dr. said that they are finding the vaccine of several years ago to not be as effective as they had hoped, so they needed another.

As if once wasn't enough.

All I could think was "Can I have my money back?"

jcc, oh, what a day... So sorry about all that! Loved your figuring of FDM, though!

Good luck with everything! :goodvibes

How's the knee doing? Hope he is walking great asap! I will pray for a miracle. Is there a St. Walt, Lover of all things Mouse????

Just a quickie update:

I spoke with Donald yesterday and he says his leg feels so much better now that it was drained. The swelling's gone down and he's able to walk a bit. Still no strenuous excerise and Mr. Fitness is having well.... a fit. :rotfl: I had already changed our park touring a little bit to avoid much zig zagging between rides. I still love Lover, but I'm finding UG's touring plans have a little less hoofin' and zig zaggin' between attractions. As long as I have "a plan" I'm ok. I just cannot walk into a park without some kind list. It's the OCD.

I think my UPS man is sick of us. :rolleyes1 I've been ordering crap from Disneyshopping.com. Hey, they've had some good deals, what can I say? I talked Andy into a pair of Cayman Crocs and they're too big, so I have to send those back. His are out of stock, so I got myself another pair (chocolate Athens). :teeth: I also bought Maddie and Evan new swimsuits and towels to match. Little Einsteins for Evan and Tink for Maddie. So cute! The swimsuits were like 75% off! Can't beat that with a stick. Makes me so mad, cause I bought her a Princess one from the Disney Store in April for $26!!! The Tink one cost $7.95!!! :faint: I won't do that again. I'll wait for the sales next year! I also bought Andy and myself new matching Mickey beach towels and a matching set for Waldo and TE.

Now with Evan being 1 inch too short, I've had to reconsider the Crocs. They just don't give him enough height to pull off the 40 inches. I want him to measure at least 41 inches at home. I've heard Disney's measuring things aren't accurate and if he's 40 inches at home and not at Disney, he's going to be disappointed. I'm thinking of buying him some new shoes with a nice thick sole. Perhaps some New Balance or some thick Van's or Etnies. We'll have to try a bunch on. I'll still take his Crocs in the park and just change his shoes when we're going to ride TT, Splash, Soarin', or BTMRR. I have to get him on those rides, because I'm not too sure we'll be back after all next year. You see, I made a pact with Andy and it looks like I may lose out. But more on that later. :sad2:

Thanks for all your well wishes and pixie dust! It sure worked! :pixiedust:

This was supposed to be short, eh?

Glad things are looking up for you....! So no line of ECV's trying to board a bus! :goodvibes
Isnt disneyshopping.com addictive..they do have such great sales! Like the idea of two shoes...one to make the height restriction and one to tour in...so funny :rotfl:
I agree about the plan thing...if not you miss out and waste time! :thumbsup2

It better make you skinnier, richer, or famous if it means living without the world!!!!

What? You're making pacts about no WDW???? WTH is going on?????

BTW we don't have Chicken pox vaccination's over here the kids just have to get it :rotfl2:

Not go to WDW next year...NOW THAT is a cardinal sin!

What happened to the Spring Mommy trip to see the flowers?

Just a quickie update:

::yes:: That's what I did with my DS last Sept. His Lands' End sandals add close to inch!
[ I have to get him on those rides, because I'm not too sure we'll be back after all next year.
SAY IT ISN'T SO??!!!!

Well that is good! :thumbsup2

Try answering the door in a low cut shirt next time....:rolleyes1

How are you measuring him at home..with our without shoes? I always measured both. My Evan had no problem reaching the 48 mark. Alec was always below it. However, when we got down to Disney, the first ride we measured him up for the 48-inch mark was Primevil Whirl. Alec had his sandals from Payless on. He made the 48 mark...just made it! He even made RnRC. Sadly, not at BB as he was barefoot. Oh well...

Are you losing your touch? No P&P Party and now no Disney next year!

I didn't realize you all would be so shocked at my pact! Let me 'splain!:lmao:

Ok, so you remember that TE wanted to do the F&G Fest, right? Well, my brother is going to New York next year for a family reunion (his wifes side) and TE and Waldo wanted to hitch a ride with him on his jet. I know  . TE and Waldo have plans to tour the east next year and this happens to be the same time TE and I had planned to do WDW. So, we're a no go unless something falls through.

Andy absolutely does not want to go to WDW next year, so since I thought I was going in May with TE, I agreed he did not have to go.

Now my brother who's going to New York has invited us on an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii (Fancy jet, 5 diamond resort... how can I pass that up???). The problem is he's not sure if it will be 08 or 09. So due to vacation schedules, Andy cannot take 2 vacations in 1 year. We're kinda stuck until DBro decides what year we do Hawaii.

Don't forget we also had Andy's 40th b-day Cruise and WDW whirlwind vacation planned for 09. Will it still happen? :confused3

Now I made a deal with Andy that if we go to Hawaii next year, I will forego my rights to a WDW vacation. But I didn't say I would forget about DVC. :rolleyes1 That comes into play later. I'm holding on to that card, baybee. HOWEVER.... if we don't go to Hawaii, and Andy's sister goes to WDW, we'll go with them.

So, as confusing as it is.... it's all still up in the air. :confused3 Where it lands, who knows, but there's a 50/50 chance I won't go to WDW. BUT there's also a 50/50 chance I will. I'm holding out for the latter. :pixiedust:
