Mentally Preparing: A Focker, A Croc & Waldo hit POFQ! Trip Report Link is UP!

:faint: I'm exhausted just reading that :rotfl2: Can't turn down a luxury all expenses paid Hawaii holiday though, I'd love to go there, my Dad has, but it's such a long way from here!!!! So you're still keeping the DVC card hey :)

BTW has hearing my accent affected the way you read my posts? :lmao:

Just a quickie update:

I spoke with Donald yesterday and he says his leg feels so much better now that it was drained. The swelling's gone down and he's able to walk a bit. Still no strenuous excerise and Mr. Fitness is having well.... a fit. :rotfl: I had already changed our park touring a little bit to avoid much zig zagging between rides. I still love Lover, but I'm finding UG's touring plans have a little less hoofin' and zig zaggin' between attractions. As long as I have "a plan" I'm ok. I just cannot walk into a park without some kind list. It's the OCD.

FWIW, we had enormously good luck with the UG plans... Glad Donald's already feeling much better!

Now with Evan being 1 inch too short, I've had to reconsider the Crocs. They just don't give him enough height to pull off the 40 inches. I want him to measure at least 41 inches at home. I've heard Disney's measuring things aren't accurate and if he's 40 inches at home and not at Disney, he's going to be disappointed. I'm thinking of buying him some new shoes with a nice thick sole.

Good luck with that! You know that we squeaked Woody through oneM:S with just a kind CM... ;)

You see, I made a pact with Andy and it looks like I may lose out. But more on that later. :sad2:

I didn't realize you all would be so shocked at my pact! Let me 'splain!:lmao:

Yes, please! :rotfl2:

Now my brother who's going to New York has invited us on an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii (Fancy jet, 5 diamond resort... how can I pass that up???). The problem is he's not sure if it will be 08 or 09. So due to vacation schedules, Andy cannot take 2 vacations in 1 year. We're kinda stuck until DBro decides what year we do Hawaii.

Don't forget we also had Andy's 40th b-day Cruise and WDW whirlwind vacation planned for 09. Will it still happen? :confused3

Now I made a deal with Andy that if we go to Hawaii next year, I will forego my rights to a WDW vacation. But I didn't say I would forget about DVC. :rolleyes1 That comes into play later. I'm holding on to that card, baybee. HOWEVER.... if we don't go to Hawaii, and Andy's sister goes to WDW, we'll go with them.

So, as confusing as it is.... it's all still up in the air. :confused3 Where it lands, who knows, but there's a 50/50 chance I won't go to WDW. BUT there's also a 50/50 chance I will. I'm holding out for the latter. :pixiedust:
Pshew. Have you been to Hawaii? We went two years ago and loved it. Still, it's not WDW... ;) Of course keep us informed when you know! ;)

:faint: I'm exhausted just reading that :rotfl2:

Me, too! :rotfl:

BTW has hearing my accent affected the way you read my posts? :lmao:

:scratchin ::yes::

INow my brother who's going to New York has invited us on an all expense paid vacation to Hawaii (Fancy jet, 5 diamond resort... how can I pass that up???).
And what famous person is your brother??? What does he do to afford all of that??????!!!!! Psst...can I be his secret mistress? :lmao:

BTW has hearing my accent affected the way you read my posts? :lmao:
::yes:: I so love it! I read your posts with your non-accent, now! :rotfl2:
Good luck with that! You know that we squeaked Woody through oneM:S with just a kind CM... ;)
I remembered that! ;)
Pshew. Have you been to Hawaii? We went two years ago and loved it. Still, it's not WDW... ;) Of course keep us informed when you know! ;)
I've been 3 times before, Oahu, Maui and Kauai. I'm hoping for a Big Island holiday next! :thumbsup2 Our last trip was in 2002 - Maddie has just turned 1!

And what famous person is your brother??? What does he do to afford all of that??????!!!!! Psst...can I be his secret mistress? :lmao:

I can't tell you that ;) .... but I can say his neighbors are Michelle Kwan (ice skater) and Jerry Buss (Lakers owner). Nice, eh? :sad2:

:faint: WHOA!!!! But I would love to do hawaii...so that saves you from maybe or maybe not having a WDW vaca next year! I mean...come on...it's Hawaii!

/
But it's not DISNEY! :sad1: :sad1:

Hey who's side are you on?? :lmao:

YOURS YOURS YOURS!!! (I mean but it is Hawaii...and I've never even been)

But...ummm...you're saving grace is that you have DL! I, on the other hand...live in the middle of flippin' nowhere! And I have to fly a million hours to get to the mouse! But, you won't be disneyless really...cause the mouse is right around the corner!

:rotfl2:

::yes:: I so love it! I read your posts with your non-accent, now! :rotfl2:
So you're saying I don't have an accent then :rotfl2:

I've been 3 times before, Oahu, Maui and Kauai. I'm hoping for a Big Island holiday next! :thumbsup2 Our last trip was in 2002 - Maddie has just turned 1!
You lucky thing, I've only done boring Europe :rotfl2:

I can't tell you that ;) .... but I can say his neighbors are Michelle Kwan (ice skater) and Jerry Buss (Lakers owner). Nice, eh? :sad2:
Errr so he's rich then :confused3 My DSis inlaws are multi millionaires and take them on exotic holidays all upper deck to places like Sandy Lane in Barbados for the whole of August, we just have to save but at least we don't have to holiday with David's parents :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

What a day! Speaking of adult beverages, I hope you were able to relax a bit after this one.

When I took my oldest two boys to their annual drs appointments they both had to have a chicken pox "booster". The Dr. said that they are finding the vaccine of several years ago to not be as effective as they had hoped, so they needed another.

As if once wasn't enough.

All I could think was "Can I have my money back?"

My poor DS was surprised by that too. They could have told me when I made the checkup appointment. I told him that he wasn't getting any shots on our way there! Plus, it was a sports physical so if I hadn't taken him this year he wouldn't have gotten the shot.

Just a quickie update:

I think my UPS man is sick of us. :rolleyes1 I've been ordering crap from Disneyshopping.com. Hey, they've had some good deals, what can I say? I talked Andy into a pair of Cayman Crocs and they're too big, so I have to send those back. His are out of stock, so I got myself another pair (chocolate Athens). :teeth: I also bought Maddie and Evan new swimsuits and towels to match. Little Einsteins for Evan and Tink for Maddie. So cute! The swimsuits were like 75% off! Can't beat that with a stick. Makes me so mad, cause I bought her a Princess one from the Disney Store in April for $26!!! The Tink one cost $7.95!!! :faint: I won't do that again. I'll wait for the sales next year! I also bought Andy and myself new matching Mickey beach towels and a matching set for Waldo and TE.

Perhaps some New Balance or some thick Van's or Etnies. We'll have to try a bunch on. I'll still take his Crocs in the park and just change his shoes when we're going to ride TT, Splash, Soarin', or BTMRR. I have to get him on those rides, because I'm not too sure we'll be back after all next year. You see, I made a pact with Andy and it looks like I may lose out. But more on that later. :sad2:

Thanks for all your well wishes and pixie dust! It sure worked! :pixiedust:

This was supposed to be short, eh?

Hooray! Donald can walk!

I love UPS and would be sad if they didn't like me.:rotfl: I'm usually looking out for wins though. I gave the lady we had a few years ago a nice Christmas gift since she carried some seriously heavy stuff to our door when Cokemusic had a bunch of giveaways. I still don't know how she got that pop a shot game off the ground. I couldn't even lift the box after she put it down.

I vote yes for two pairs of shoes in the parks. You know how well it worked for me! ;) Not that I'm pimping my trippie that the last date in my siggie links to or anything. :rotfl2:

Great news on Donald:thumbsup2

Um now about this pact...

Why in all that's Holy would you even risk a WDW on any pact. Yeah I'm sure Hawaii is nice, I mean it's a tropical Island and all, but um it's not the Mouse. You are going to give up the Big Cheese for the Big Island:confused: :sad2:

Well, I guess since you have DL nearby you have something at least.

Good luck with Evan and making 40 inches, got everything crossed for you.

Um, BTW is your brother single? Just asking:rolleyes1

Those are some confusing vacation plans. I'm glad you understand them... I love Disney but I would pass up paying lots of money to go to Disney for an all expenses paid trip to Hawaii any day!

Can we trade secrets? I know where Kristi Yamaguchi lives.

Putting on my flame suit....

I'd take Hawaii over WDW any day!!!

Of course, doing both would be better. Duh. ;)

Um now about this pact...
Why in all that's Holy would you even risk a WDW on any pact.
Why you ask..... :scratchin: Well, I've been hiding my hand... my DVC hand to be exact. We'll all just have to see if it works out. I'm a gambling gal, and I usually win, so I'm not too skerred of my odds. ;)

Um, BTW is your brother single? Just asking:rolleyes1
Sorry, Mo. He's taken, and I doubt his wife's givin' him up anytime soon! :rotfl2:
