It's a great hotel for the price but I guess it depends on what type of person you are (I'm in my early 30's and no kids). Anyone that says the walk is that far spends way too much time watching TV, it will take you about 10 minutes and isn't much farther than everyone's favorite "The Candy Cane Inn" from
Disneyland.
The pool/hot tub is open 24 hours, they have a restaurant with good food and bar with great happy hour specials. They recently remodeled the place a few years ago and it sort of resembles a welfare version of some of the hipster hotels in Vegas. Some folks say it looks like a polished turd since it used to be a Best Western or something with outside entrance to your room.
Besides the hub at Disneyland, The Hotel Ménage is the best place to watch the fireworks, simply amazing!
There is a Starbucks and gas station across the street for water/snacks and also a Taco Hell if you dare to eat fast food.
I've heard people complain about the staff but I have never encountered a problem. Nice flat screens and decor in the rooms, you can even upgrade to a suit with a kitchen and bar.
The Wi-Fi is free when it is working but you will have to pay $10 for parking. There is also a shuttle to Disneyland for a small fee, Disneyland is the first stop on the way there but Hotel Ménage is the last on the way back.
I won't stay anywhere else while I'm in town except the GCH.
Hope this helps, ask anymore questions if you have them.
