Looking for the best Driving route from Memphis to Port Canaveral? Will be driving down next month, Do not like to go thru Atlanta. Any help?? THANKS.......... DCL in 53 days..........

less traffic also very nice embassy suite at mongomery

past 20 down hwy 65 to hwy 10 then to hwy 95

wish I was going,, can you fit me in some where please

I live in the Memphis area and have driven both routes. I drove down right after 9/11 and went through Atlanta about 10:30 p.m. and it was a breeze. I made sure I got to the other side of Atlanta before we stopped for the night and it was an easy drive out of the area the next morning. It sure was nice having major interstate the whole way. I hate Atlanta during the day but would do that route again at night. Just a thought............Good Luck.

Also like to stay in macon,, but still like montgomery as well unless we go to stone mtn.

CMATT- Thanks for the info, We drive Nixa-Memphis. I am still trying to find best route Memphis to Orlando?? The route you take sounds fine. Last year we took Memphis-Jackson-Mobile to HY 10 to 75 down to Orlando, I like this route, Thinking about doing this again... Have you been on this route????
