Are there opportunities to use memory maker at resorts?

There isn't really many times you'll see a photopass photographer at a resort, however resorts that have character dining and shows that you pay for after there is one there. I've stayed at 13 Disney resorts and don't know if I've just seen one out without there being a special event more than maybe 3 times

'Ohana breakfast at the Polynesian has a photographer that goes table to table during the meal
During the Christmas season there is a photographer at the Grand Floridian taking photos in front of the lobby tree with Minnie/Mickey. This happens at specific times.
