If we aren't going to do many character greets, is it worth the price? We will be doing 4 park days.

At $150 prepurchase, How many digital shots would we need to buy in order to break even?
Not sure on ride/character photo current cost.

Are there photographers at non-character dining? DTD? Resorts?

None that I ever saw in April.

I don't think it will be worth it for 4 days but that's my opinion and you will get many others. We were there 5 days at the parks and took every chance to get a picture taken and did a lot of character meet and greets and got just over 100 pictures but about 60 of them were duplicates (different angels etc.).

If this is your first trip it might be worth it but if not I probably wouldn't.

Digital downloads are usually 15 a piece. The memory maker also includes the rides. When we did 4 nights in May we skipped it but when going for 7 nights in Sept we'll do it. You can also get just the photopass prepay 100/120? I forget which, but it is just the pics, no rides or characters meals included.

When we skip it , I just make sure I ask the photographers to take a couple(more than 1 ) with mine incase of cloed eyes and such

We always go for at least a week and I try hard to have pictures taken, but it seems like no one wants to stop, it's too crowded for a good picture, the line's too long, etc. In the end, I'm lucky to get 5 good shots.

So I'd need about 8 ride shots, DS meeting Mickey, and the castle shot to break even.

That might work out.
Is there a list somewhere with rides that do photos?
All I can think of right now is Thunder Mtn

I think this is it.

Participating attractions:
•Space Mountain
•Splash Mountain
•Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
•Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
•Rock 'n Roller Coaster
•Expedition Everest
•Dinosaur
•Test Track

We'll only be on 4 of these rides, no character meals, and I'm not very good about seeing/finding/stopping for photogs. Can't see that it makes sense for me.

We plan to ride almost all of these.
Except TT and I'm not sure what Dino is.

If you like to see ride photos and plan on stopping for at least a couple character shots then it is worth it. We stopped at nearly every photographer we saw and got lots of great shots with the iconic symbol of each park in background, and all the ride photos, plus some great ones at the waterpark. It was worth it to us, and actually kind of nice not to have to pick and choose which ride shots, character greetings etc we wanted. We had well over 200 pics (after doubles taken out) and some great magic shots as well. But you do need to make an effort to seek out the photopass pic CM's. We never waited more than a couple minutes (even in MK at RD with Castle in background) for a picture-and we went during high crowd times in June. We did Buzz light year multiple times and I will probably use a montage of those pics for our Holiday card (we were doing silly poses by 8th time through lol). However Disney Quest stuff and PH photo are NOT included just FYI. Yes you can get the CM to take photos with your own camera but you won't get the magic shots. We have Stitch, Olaf, tinker bell with the kids and they are photos I would have wanted to keep.

It is 14.95 for each picture to download. The attraction photos are more.

I'm dealing with the same thing - I'll only be in the parks for 4 days total and 2 of those are half days only.

I'm making a list of what photos I might want so I can decide if I want to do memory maker.
My issue is I'm going to the Halloween Party again so I really need a list of what characters will be around so I can pick and choose who I might want pictures with. That will be the deciding factor for me.

I already know I want to hunt down the new Olaf magic picture and the new Jiminy Cricket magic picture.

It has probably changed but our Olaf magic shot was outside The Land pavilion in Epcot. I am not sure most people even realized the photographer was there and it is a pretty background. We actually got some really nice shots there of us as family, just kids, just DH and I.
Debating on MM for next trip but after loving it this last time not sure how we can go without lol!

What does PH mean?

Usually it means "Park Hopper" or "Planet Hollywood" -- but in this context I am not sure. Does Planet Hollywood have some kind of photo opportunity?

Oops sorry should have spelled that out- yes it's planet hollywood They do take a photo but not included in memory maker. Also the video you can get from Disney quest in the design your own roller coaster simulator is not included.
