Memory Maker Questions

I know there are a ton of threads on this and I'm just not finding the answer to these two questions. Sorry if they've been answered before.

- I just purchased Memory Maker (7/27 at 10:00PM), how does the 3 day waiting period for pre-purchase work? Would 7/27 count as the first day so I'd be able to include pictures starting on 7/30, or would it be actual 24 hour periods since purchase so the pictures would not be included until after 10:00PM on 7/30? (Hope that makes sense)
- How do you add other travellers? We have friends going at the same time and I'd like to add them to My Disney Experience for picture purposes only since they already have their own MDE accounts. How much info do I need to add them to my account too (park pass info, resort reservations, etc)? Can this even be done?

- Are the ride photos downloading to bands automatically now? Does the "owner" of the Memory Maker have to be on the ride for this to happen or is it anyone on the "owner's" MDE account?

I *think* it is 3 = 24 hour periods, so you wouldn't be able to use it until after 10:00 p.m. on the 30th. I could be wrong though, because we bought ours WAY in advance.

You first have to link them as friends and family. Then there is a setting to allow others to view/purchase your photos. That also has to be activated.

The ride photos download to the bands automatically now. The owner of the MM does NOT have to be on the ride for this to happen. However, ONLY the owner of the MM will be able to view the ride photos on the Photopass site. So, if your friends that are linked ride Splash their photo will be taken and you will be able to view it on your account but they will not be able to see that ride photo if they log into their account.

Also, I know you didn't ask, but be careful when it comes to editing the photos as well. ONLY the edits done on the account of the MM owner will be able to be downloaded. Friends and family can edit their photos on their accounts, but they will not be able to be downloaded on your MM entitlement.

You're correct, as soon as you purchase the 72 hour hold period begins. So 10pm on Monday means a photo taken after 10:01pm Thursday would be included but nothing before.
