We just got back from WDW and shared the cost of the MM with another family that went.

My question is, can I download our pics to a cd and then still be able to download their pics to a cd? They havent had time to go thru all the pics and play with borders etc.

If I forget one or two (they are lost, hoping they find them) can I download them later as long as it is within the 30 days?

Hi jstbcuz,
I don't think you would download your pics directly to a CD, you would either pick and chose the photos you want and download them to your computer (hard drive) or better than that you can download a zip file that contains ALL your pictures. I don't know of any restrictions about the number of times the photos can be downloaded so the other family should be able to do the same thing. Also, I believe you have 45 days (not 30) from the time the first picture was uploaded to your account to download photos.

Before downloading the whole picture gallery, it is best, as you say, to play with the borders etc. But if you want to add borders and crop things after you downloaded, you can always log back into your account, make the edits and download just the photos you modified.

In the end, if worst comes to worst, you can always transfer the photos on your computer to a flash drive and send/give that to the other family but I don't think that would be necessary.

Hope I didn't ramble too much. Good Luck!

Here is a great link that explains Memory Maker:

You don't download to a CD anymore, you download your pictures to your computer. Then you can burn a CD for yourself and your family/friends. That's what we did when we shared the cost of our first 2 Memory Makers, the 3rd we just purchased on our own

Is the Memory Maker worth it if your not doing or at least have many character/meet-greets scheduled?

You have to make the effort to make it worth it, whether it's by going on the rides that have pictures, doing meet and greets, or just getting your picture taken at the various spots around the parks. Having said that, the last time I went, I pre-ordered the PhotoPass CD (which is no longer available), which did not include ride pictures except for Test Track. I only did a couple of meet and greets, but I made a point of stopping at pretty much every PhotoPass photographer I saw, and I managed to get about 150 pictures after adding borders. (I often got the same picture with more than one border.)

Spot on (above) with memory maker except you get a bunch of ride pictures, pictures with added characters, video (Tower of terror), and video pics. But you have to dig up photographers. At BB and TL there about three we could find which was okay for us. We got a couple hundred pictures. We got a deal on it last summer too.
