memory card recommendation

I need to get an extra memory card for our upcoming trip and I can't decide which to get.....I need a compactflash card....my current is 512 mb so its been a while since I bought one.....I think I want a 2GB....does the speed (60x vs. 133x) make that much difference....any recommendations....thanks

I use a ScanDisk Ultra II 2.0Gb. I was in Circuit City the other day and it was $29.95. So far I have not had any problems with it.

It depends on what camera you have. I usually buy from Buy.com and Newegg.com b/c the price is good and the service is also good.

I have never had a single problem with Kingston.

Double check to be sure your camera accepts a 2GB card.

I don't think you need the extra speed unless you take video using the camera (some can) or if you want to take pictures in quick succession.

Some cameras may require a longer time between shots as the memory card gets full. Most people don't mind. The instructions should mention this if this is the case. Here a faster memory card may make a difference.
