I'm finally starting to sort through the photos I took on my trip a few weeks ago, and I thought it might be nice to have a thread with just the Memories Collection locations. I also took some reeeeeally amateur video—it's shaky, but it will give you a better spatial feel for the sites... :cutie:

There are two possible locations. The first is under this tree, next to the path.

The other site is the right hand side of the dock. Note that boats will be picking up and dropping off on the left side during the ceremony.

Thanks for posting the pics! The locations look beautiful! I hope they keep this option available for the next 4.5 years!!!!

great pictures and thank you so much for posting them. now i'm excited for our VR in january!

Luau beach isn't much of a beach is it? But I guess with only six people you don't need a wide expanse of sand.

Thank you so much for these!!! My DF and I have just changed from and Escape wedding to a Memories Collection! We are so excited!!!:cool1:

My DF and I are doing a memories wedding in March at Luau Beach so we went and checked it out today.. Depending on where ceremony actually takes place there is a perfect view of the castle nestled beautifully next to the WP :love2:

Thank you SO much for these pics! My DF and I are from TX and will not be able to preview a location before the wedding. really helps :)

I wonder if they would let you use Sago Cay if it wasn't busy at that time? I would love a VR there one day!

Yes—Conch Key is directly across the marina from Sago Cay, just a few feet closer to the Magic Kingdom.

I am also interested to see if they would let us use Sago Cay...Anyone willing to call up and ask?:confused3

Our vow renewal was at Conch Key Marina and I didn't even notice the ash tray until I got back and saw the pictures here:eek:. They moved both of the benches (and the ash tray) over to the right hand side for our ceremony. It's a pretty little spot - I could see the castle in the background as I walked in and it is very private since it's basically a dead end path.:goodvibes

Oh, that is good to know! I was think it looked nice until I saw the ash tray, but they must ensure the area is cleaned up before the ceremony :goodvibes

Does anyone happen to know if during the morning at Conch Key it is that shaded? It looks very dark, and I was wondering if it was just that time of the day or if it was like that all the time. Does anyone have pics of there wedding/VR there?

I just had photos done around there over Christmas (although closer to Sago Cay), at around 11 am. When I get the CD from my photographer, I can post a few to show that time of day (or what it is in December anyway). From what I remember, most of the GF seemed sunny, with shaded areas.

It was morning when I took those pictures, if that helps. Seems to me that by afternoon it should brighten up, but it would be interesting to see by how much...
