Beautiful weather this weekend in Ohio. We're having a garage sale to squeeze out a few more bucks for WDW. We have loads of stuff, why don't ya'll stop over for a peek??? LOL!

Ahoy there.....The Gales from Newnan GA and Mobleys from Statesboro GA. This is such a cool thread. This is thegales first cruise.....we are SO excited!!!!!!! I think it will take me a year to read through 12 pages of posts tho., but I am SURE there is tons of good info and friends to meet. Whouda thunk? I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

Ok......since we are new.......Anyone done the comfort inn thing? I just checked and reservations are $251. We will have 3 boys (9,6, and 6) and 1 girl (8) in our party. We are thinking about just doing the waterslide stuff at the atlantis and comfort inn would be most economical.....and then just enjoy castaway cay as it is....no excursion. Any comments?

Interested in the FE but let me make sure I can find some material.

I did read a little about the comfort inn thing, but we've decided to just do the Atlantis excursion (without the waterslides), so I can't really answer that question.

Let us know for sure what you decide to do about the fish extenders so I can add you to our pass out schedule. We'll also need to know what room(s) your in.

Tina- I never thought of "passout schedule" like that! How funny!

Hi,

This is my first post, (I have been a lurker though)! Hope it is not too late to join.

This will be our 2nd Disney cruise, our last one was Jan 2009 on the Wonder. I swear they must have put some sort of "drug" in the water, as ever since I got off that cruise, I CANT STOP thinking about another one. It was only a matter of weeks before we booked this one for the 24th. We also have a 3-night for December (FBO-$99).

It will be me, my DH and DS who will be 7 on 5/24 so this is a TRUE celebration for him. We are from Florida, so we are driving up the day of the cruise. I am soooo excited!

We got our cruise documents today via UPS!

Our family is getting really excited as we're under the one month mark. DD7 is already planning all the activites she wants to do in Oceaneer's Club! And I need to do the dreaded bathing suit shopping.

The two neighbor families that are joining us are getting excited, too, for their very first cruise. I'll be talking to them this weekend about joining the FE exchange. And, there is still a possibility that extended family (DSIL - Kaykels) may hop onboard as well. These Disney cruises are contagious!

OKAY, I'M IN ! I BOOKED IT
I posted before because I thought I was booking, found out I couldn't go, then just found out we can go after all. The kids were almost in tears when I told them today that I booked it. Only bummer is, oops, didn't realize my cabins are directly under the flipping disco. Oops, no wonder there was a last minute FRR with 2 cat 10's next door. Duh! You think I would know better after 5 Disney cruises.

So I will be traveling with DH, DD 12, DS 8 and the older sister is bringing a friend. That's a whole other thread in and of itself.....
We will have fish extenders so count us in! Can't wait. We are in cabins 2037 and 2039 unless we can change that tomorrow. If I change it I'll let you know.
We are the extended family that Donna (TiggerzFan) above me has so fondly called us. Yeesh....damn in laws! Just kidding sis!

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all the welcomes! I’m sorry I have not posted in a while. I thought I had set up the board to email me when there was a new message posted. I then was wondering why no one was posting and its getting so close (25 days)!! So, I came on to the board, and wow, I missed a lot of messages!! I will check everyday now, so that does not happen again!

G-Ma - To answer your question. I think we are just going to walk around Nassau, so no excursions. On Castaway Cay, I think we will just hang out on the beach, maybe the stingray encounter. Since we live in Florida, Madison gets to pet stingrays often. They have them at the zoo and at sea world! So, we will see! How about you? Oh, and we are on the late seating for dinner. We did just get the packet in the mail; does it give you an exact time in there?

Kelley Lou - I ordered our FE on eBay and it is being made right now. I think we are in 6639? I will get back to you when I double check. I’m at work right now and have emailed my mom at home to check on it for me I saw you put us down for Monday and that is great

Also, what is the green button y’all are talking about for when we all meet?

I am so excited for our trip. We were just at Disney this past weekend, stayed at Ft. Wilderness in the Cabins and that was a blast! I highly recommend that if you have multiple kids. My friend and I took our daughters and a friend, so there were 3 girls total and they just had so much fun! They had more fun playing in the cabin than I think at the park, LOL!! They even attempted to go fishing. LOL! Oh and my dd has changed her mind about not wanting to dress up on pirate night. When we got off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride this past weekend, she saw a costume and now of course wants to dress up! So I guess she is going to be a pirate now!

Thanks, can't wait !!! Wow, I love booking a cruise and only having to wait 23 more days until I leave. Now my Oasis cruise for 2010 is a year and a half wait. That's crazy!

Welcome everyone!!!

Just to go over a few things for the newbies who signed on...

Yes! The Fish Extender is open to all. It is not too late.

As to the the 'buttons'. We have come up with a way to identify ourselves as a group and to help locate each other when onboard. It is the photo button. All the craft stores carry them. We were thinking of putting a lime green mickey head in it (from home depot), and perhaps our name or dis name, or lol, both.

Our first meet is set up for deck 9, at sail away party, far up as possible on the far right. I know we'll be busy and hyped and dancing but at least we'll be able to give a wave and see the people behind the names.

We have a later meet set for Diversions (I think) at 9:30. Stop in if you can for the fun. So, if we don't meet up earlier we hope to catch you all later.

Kelly will be modifying the list to add the newcomers to the F.E.

Please read through the posts. Help us to get to know you better. And lastly, (no more excuses) get shopping and packing we go in less than a month.

Glad to have you with us, and as it's been said, it's never too late for FE!

Eleni, thanks for helping update the roster, I was able to just cut and paste to re-update it. I was away from my computer for a day and came back to 10 posts. LOL! Think we're all getting excited??? Since we are doing Disney 1st we leave Ohio on May 20th- only 21 days!!!

I count 14 groups in the FE so far. Totaling 51 people (28 adults and 23 kids). Hope that helps everyone with your shopping. Anyone care to recount that, it was harder than it sounds, lol!?!(I already have mine bought. Tonight I'm gonna run back to the store and buy a few more for the additional people! So excited).
