Memorial Day Question

Hello All,
Are the Malls etc open on Memorial Day. I understand that Memorial Day is similar to our Anzac day our Shops open at 1 pm do you do the same. We are having a rest day on that day and were thinking of going to the Disney discount shop that day.

Our banks, postal service and gov't offices are closed for the holiday. HOwever, most retail stores use it as an excuse to have big sales. You shouldnt have a problem with anything being closed.
