Membership cards falling apart

Does anyone else have this problem? Ours are separating so that the fronts are peeling away from the backs. I have no idea why other than maybe they got too hot from being stored in a bowl on a high shelf. We only get them out when we need to use them. They've never been wet. I assume I can call MS to get them replaced but just haven't gotten around to it.
 
I've had my cards since 2004 and no problems yet. That includes the one I've carried in my wallet virtually that entire time.

I would think that MS would send replacement cards to you. Give 'em a call and hopefully you'll have some new cards soon. :)
 
Next time you go to Disney, you can go to the Saratoga Spring where they do the demo. They can make a new one for you in less than 5 minutes.

I had the exact same problem. When I couldn't read the member number anymore due to the separation, I called MS and asked for a replacement. :) Didn't feel two badly about it - the cards were the originals and had lasted almost 11 years.
 
I had to have my original one from 1999 replaced for the same reason, it was at least 5 years ago. The replacement has worked fine.
 
My original card is from 1995 and you can hardly make out the numbers. Asked MS for another card several years ago and they sent it quickly. I still keep the old one for nostalgia.
 
I have never carried my card me anywhere. I have my member # in my phone if I need it. What is the point of carrying your card?
 
Member discounts. And proof I'm a member staying on points at BLT so I can get into TOTWL.
 
We had our original membership cards replaced after the numbers wore off. I caqlled member services and they sent out the replacements; it seemed to take a long time.

I had mine replaced a few months ago had it just about 10 years...a quick call to member services and I received it a few weeks later.....hubby's card is still fine but he only takes it out when we go to Disney
 
After 17 years I need to replace ours. It is splitting along the length of the card just above the signature space. Staying at SSR in October so will probably asked for a replacement.

You need the member card for discounts and some perks at WDW. It's just easier for me to keep it in my wallet than it is to move it around and risk not having it when we need it.
