Got my member number but points are not loaded yet. CM said they are working on it today. Should I try to call back later or tomorrow?

I thought you weren't going to call until the 17th.

If you have your member number, did you get your club ID and activation code so you can log on to the website? You can just check there; the points will show up as soon as they are loaded.

I tried and couldn't wait any more.
I did not get a club ID OR CODE yet bc they said the points were not loaded.

I'm very confused. You posted on another thread that you booked your first DVC reservation already???...

Yes I called back later in the evening and points were loaded. But I will call tonight or tomorrow for code.

So I finally see my new points from my resale purchase, but they are under a different member number. This seems like it will be problematic when trying to book reservations. Is there a way to merge the two accounts? And it not, how would I go about making a reservation using points from both contracts? Thanks for any insight

Are they a different UY, if so separate membership.

Deed titled differently than the original contract(s), if so separate membership.

I'm not sure what that means. I bought them both this year but the resale was originally purchased in 1999.

oh, ok, yes, they are different. One is December and the other is February. Thanks!

That solves it, it will remain two separate memberships. Though if they're titled the same, they should both show up under the same sign-in on your online account.

Bummer. So is there a way to use all of the points on the same reservation? Like if I call?

Yes, but you will always have to call. You are technically allows to do a single "transfer" (either in or out) with each account each year, so disney will let you transfer your points from one to another. Historically, they have been more flexible with the once-per-year limit for people in your situation; with different use years.

But, in order to use transferred points, you always have to call to make your reservations.

That is a total bummer. Oh well. Thanks so much for your help :)

We have two use years and I try and use both to makes separate reservations as best i can to avoid transferring points. Works for us as we are always looking for split stays so we just split when we run out of points in 1 contract
