Member Homecoming DisMeet Downer...

Hello All,

I was soooooo excited about attending my first DisMeet @ EPCOT on 5/25, but when I got my package for MH my assigned time for the MU was 3:00PM on 5/25. Since I can't be in two places at once and want to do it all : ) I called MS to see if it could be changed. I had to leave a message because the person who dealt w/ this was not available. She called and left a message three days later that she changed me to 10:00AM on 5/25 and said 3:00 on 5/26 (what I preferred, was booked. Maybe it was booked cause she took three days to rearrange this for me). Only bein there for 3 days makes it hard to fit it all in. Anyway, I was surprides that she just witched me w/o me saying k. I am traveling w/ two other people...anyway...I'm very confused. We are spending a pretty penny on this event when you factor in the hotel/airfare/meals etc. I tink we should have been able to choose the time that worked best for us : ( Just thought I'd share.

i agree, we are kind of put in a rock and a hard place, sort of speaking, but we all dont want to miss it just in case we we get a special gift for attending.

Bompy213 - I had to have mine changed also (Tues from 3 to 10). I was told that I could be moved to 10 AM that same day, but could not be changed to Wednesday. I believe other people were told the same thing.

At least now we will get to meet you!!!!!!!

We were also disappointed about the member update. We are only there for three days and have made PS already and have other things planned. If we would have known abou this extra event, we would have planned differently. We were scheduled for 10 am on Tues. Well we arrive at MCO at 9:15am on Tues. So I called and the only other time available was Tues. 3pm...we have PS for that time. I asked if we would be missing any special gifts and I was told "no." So we are just not attending. We would have liked to have known about this in advance. I didn't think it was necessary to go over to SSR on Tues. and then again on Thurs. also.

I guess I am looking at this differently - I am only at WDW for a few days for MH, but I am not planning anything else until I know the MH schedule. My goal is to do as much regarding MH as possible.

Judith - we are with you. We are there only 2 days before the MH dates, but that is where we put the other things we wanted to do. Wanted to keep the MH dates open.

The exception of course is the DIS meet we planned. We did that on the frist day of MH for two reasons:

1) we knew that would be a date everyone would be there

2) we wanted it to be before the first MH event so eveyrone could get to know each other.
