Hi All
I was just hoping someone can explain how our points work with the member cruise, when looking at the points chart are the points shown for 1 person or 2 ? Example for my husband and I would the 90 point stateroom be 90 points or 180?
Thanks for all your help:wave2:

This would be 90 per person.
Good luck if you are trying to get on the member cruise

The points are per person. Points for 3rd/4th person are listed below.

If you have never been on a cruise before you need to remember that you are getting more than a room, you are also getting all your meals and entertainment too.

Good luck dialing in!

I don't know about Disney and I have never been on a cruise, but my understanding from my friends who have been on cruises is that not all fees and expenses are necessarily covered. For example, you need to tip the housekeeper ($50), alcholic beverages are not included, tip the porter ($50), etc. Perhaps those who have been on Disney cruises can confirm or deny any additional expenses.

Yes, you should expect to tip. Usually you are given a list with sums that would be considered "norms" and the people who would be receiving the tips. These amounts can be done via your shipboard credit account or they are given in envelopes on the last night of the cruise. On some lines that I've been on the tip is automatically included on the bar drinks charge, I'm not sure about DCL!

You are correct - you need to tip your server, asst. server, head server and room steward. I think you will find that with the service you get from them those tips are well deserved.

Also you do have to pay for alcoholic beverages. I guess I tend to leave that out because we don't drink. :D

What is included is at least 3 wonderful meals a day with everything from sit down to buffet, snacks and ice cream, 24 hour room service. Wonderful shows, some of which are broadway quality in my opinion.

We have a thread going about the member cruise already that has a lot of past cruisers on it so ask here, ask there, or ask away on the cruise board. We'll be happy to answer.

If you haven't made a "points" exchange before, be sure you completely understand the numerous restrictions on your points once you convert them to "reservation points status" and make a DCL reservation through MS. The use year on the points can be very important should you have to cancel.
