Meeting Guys?

Around here its not so easy for a gal to meet a guy if clubs and bars are out. There still are alternatives. A big draw is the supermarket, you would be amazed how many you can meet during one food shopping outing. Pick a larger location (maybe like a super store) lots of places to meet in those. If you find a nice guy you could just grab a latte or a yogurt smoothie right there! Bottom line is men must eat and many man shop to do so. You can spot the guys that are single by them not pushing a cart but carrying a smaller basket. Watch, Must Love Dogs....Great movie and many man meeting tips!
I never lacked places to meet new men, they are everywhere we just have to be open and acceptive. I'm no longer on the market but have many friends that are. I'm gonna think of some other locations too.

It seems like I'm always meeting men as well. As a matter of fact, a guy walked up to me at Wal-Mart and asked me out last weekend. The funny thing was that it was 11pm, and I was buying toilet parts.

DH and I had just finished renovating a bathroom and were reinstalling a toilet, so I didn't have my rings on.

Are you near a military training base? There are always lots of guys there--granted, they are between the ages of 21 and 25, but there are a ton of them...and they're all ready to settle down and start families.

The wax ring??? :duck:

Marie and I met where we worked together. She did not want to give me a first date because of the common workplace, but my 11 month perseverance worked. :faint: We both left the company shortly after we started dating, though not for that reason, we just were going on to new jobs.

okay a good way to see if a guy is interested is this: Ask him out to the hot movie out that weekend, listen to what flicks they are talking about, he'll say yes even if he is only mildly interested in you, but if he says no, no matter how much he wants to see the movie, then he is not that into you.

I learned this on Loveline a couple years ago, saves me a lot of trouble pining over a guy.

A guy will do anything you ask him to if he likes you.

My husband went to church with me for months, and turned out later to be an agnostic. But it was too late, I was in love! I'm in love with a heathen! :)

This may sound crazy, but I have met some wonderful guys in my volunteering ventures. Just volunteering their time to a non-profit is already a big point in their favor. I've met a few working with the Miracle League, but I really met a bunch of great guys at a summer camp I volunteered at. It was for kids with bleeding disorders, so there were more male campers (with hemophilia) than female. That meant a higher proportion of male counselors and I met some wonderful, single fellows that week. I'm not on the market, but I've been trying to get a single friend of mine to go work with me again, so maybe she could meet someone special.
