Meeting a Villain!!

My group of friends and I are going to be on a Villain hunt when we go in May. I've read that WDW has many villains compared to Disneyland. WHO and where can I find the villains?

We're looking for a couple in particular:

Maleficent
The Queen
The Hag
Queen of Hearts
Hades
Jafar
Lady Termaine

The character festival near the lagoon and Ariel's grotto has villains, off the top of my head, we've met Jafar, The Queen of Hearts, the mean Capt from Pocohantas, Captain Hook (also in Adventureland) Cruella DeVil (we also met her in the judges tent, but that was years ago) Hades is in the parade at MGM, maybe you can find him there?

I've seen a website that shows where you might find different characters, and the one's you won't find. Hopefully someone here will post it, I don't have it bookmarked.

Have fun, the villains are some of the most fun characters to interact with!

Back a few weeks ago, we saw the Queen in front of Tony's Rest. on Main St. on an early morning day right after the park opened. We had to curtsey for her. She was a riot.

The Queen of Hearts and Jafar are pretty common. I don't think you should have too much of a problem there. I have seen them by the hat in MGM and in front of the castle at MK. This was in 3/04 & 11/03, both places, both times.

The others are going to very difficult, maybe impossible. If you are a die hard villian fan. Try to get to MNSSHP one year. They have a lot of the villians out for meet and greets, that you can't get any other time of the year.

The area by Ariel's Grotto was called Fantasyland Character Festival (the old 20K attraction area), but it is no longer a character meet and greet location.
My advice would be to ask a cast member to call the CHIP hotline to find out where any villains might be located for you to meet. When it comes to villains, you never know who will show up in what location, and that's the only accurate way to find out.

We found Jafar about half way round World Showcase in Epcot.

What's the CHIP hotline? And ask any CM, or just the ones with the characters? Can this be done at a resort to get the schedule for a particular character?

In Feb. we saw many at MGM throughout the day. Keep looking there.

I saw Queen of hearts on Main street in MK, Evil Queen in MG by hat, Gov radcliff on masin street in MK. In past I've seen Jafar by Alidain ride. Captian hook coming off POTC.

We met Cruella de Vil in Exposition Hall, on her way outside and she was a hoot! They are really fun- good luck

Can the resort front desk get information about the characters or give you a number to call or something?

This past October we saw Maleficent in Town Square at the Magic Kingdom. She was right in front of the Expo hall. I believe it was around 11-12 o'clock.

Got her picture and her autograph.
