How fun! I saw this the other day, so I told my DH about it and he's all into it! I've already gotten some LGMH and DH is ready to do the "Focker" We'll be arriving May 6 and departing May 11 at WDW. Can't wait!

You bought DVC? What is your home resort? We bought SSR - it closed at the end of Nov and we added on at AK in March.

Ok, a quick lesson in FOCKER..

Lime Green = The official color of the DIS

CROC= furry little friend FOCKERS take to the world, be it Disney World or Disneyland. He/She's a travel croc. Kinda like the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.

CROCS= The official shoe of the DIS.

FOCKER = The official hand signal used by fellow DIS-ers (ala Meet the Parents, fingers to eyes; I'm watching you hand gesture) to signal a bond, a sister/brotherhood, if you will. Just remember, not all DIS-ers are FOCKERS.

Sure did! I'll have SSR as my Home resort, too IF my closing ever happens

I can vouch for them - bought me a pair of brown Mary Janes and I LOVE them!

Forever if you buy resale. From the time we made our offer to closing was 2 months. Then we had to wait a week after closing before we were in the system and able to make a reservation. If you buy through Disney, you have your points immediately and closing only takes a few weeks.

I t really DOES feel like forever, doesn't it?! Let's see... I started on March 3 and am waiting to close any day now... and I understand it'll be about 2 weeks after closing that Disney will have me in the system for booking... 2 months it is!

Love the concept! Have any of you experienced "fockering" in the parks yet? I gotta say, I'm a little wary of accidentally "fockering" a "non-fockerer" and scaring them, or having them call security on me because they think I'm a crazy stalker or something. Do you sport some kind of sign so that I could feel fairly certain of a positive ID? Other than the LGMHPC's, which many DIS'ers display. Thanks for the help!

Nope, we have a list jsut for that reason - the idea is to check and see which TFW members will be there during your trip so you can meet up and/or give them The Look
