I'd like to try this over our spring trip. Is this one of those shows that require advance reservations (for family of 4) or would same day walk-in be sufficient?

I am planning to surprise my girls with this place on our trip, so I have been researching it. It looks like if you were going midweek you might not needs reservations, however I do not know about weekends. The best prices are the coupons either on their site or on the anaheim orange county visitors bureau website, so that would be a benefit to buying tickets ahead of time. I also read that it helps to get there early- even with reservations- because you get your seating when you get there, except for those paying extra for theVIP sections. The early birds are closer, so it may be that if you got there early with no reservations they would be able to fit you in. There is a little museum on site you could go into if you need something to do while waiting. Sorry abt typos- small keyboard pixiedust:

Hi. I live in Orange County, new to Dis Boards. Besides the Anaheim Visitor Bureau, also check the internet version of the Orange County Register newspaper. MT often puts codes in the paper. Also, Retailmenot.com - they list on-line coupon codes or you may want to try costco, on line, if you are a member. Good Luck.

Thanks for the replies! Since we will have only one available night for this show, I think I better reserve in advance. I'll go check out the various discounts. Right now it seems the buy 1 get 1 free via the OC visitors site gives the greatest savings.

I plan to surprise my boys, too! They'll think we're spending a week in San Diego. But we plan to head up and stay in Anaheim for 2 nights before flying home; we'll do the Medieval Times the 1st night and spend the next day checking out the new Cars Land! We'll probably skip Disneyland since I am also planning a surprise WDW trip at the end of the year. :-)

That's great! I love surprises :cool1: Yes the OCVB coupon does seem to be the best. Medieval Times does monthly or season promotions too though, and January is still up, so I am waiting a few days to see what they offer next :) I can't get the OCVB coupon to work online, so it looks like I will call if I use that one.

Have a great trip!
