Medieval Time Upgrade ?

Does anyone know if we purchase tickets ahead of time (through Undercover Tourist) if we can somehow upgrade them to VIP or whatever it's called?

The price at UT is $13 less and the upgrade is $10, so it's a wash. But it doesn't look like you can buy the upgrade at UT. One person in our group desperately wants the VIP seating, but I hesitate to spend $65 on the Medieval Times website.

Or, is it worthwhile to use coupons in area guide books? Does anyone know how much those take off the total? Do you just make a reservation and then pay at the entrance? Can you still upgrade to VIP?

You can get the upgrade. I do it every year with the dinner shows we choose for that year (so far Arabian Nights (several times), Medieval Times & Pirate's Adventure).
Everytime we had no problem getting an upgrade purchased at the window upon checking in the show.

I have found UnderCoverTourist cheaper than any other site or coupon site/book (Entertainment Book). When determing, make sure you include shipping, as some sites charge.

Thank you! I assume that if you buy the tickets from UT you still need to make a reservation by calling. We'll plan to arrive early to request the upgrade.

Yes.. you call to make the reservation. Last year (in July) we had no problem calling in the morning for an reservation that evening. But, you may want to do it earlier.
With Arabian Nights we did the upgrade on the phone (they took the cc number, but didn't charge it until check in).. the others we did the upgrade at the check in window.
All of the upgrades we've gotten, we get in earlier, and free special souveniers, and of course the best seats!
Ask for the Black/White section for Medieval Times.. it's dead center stage.
