Mears Shuttle

Anyone use this? I'm confused by the prices. Mears taxi from PopCentury to SeaWorld is $24 but the shared shuttle is $16 per person. Why would I pay $48 for a "shared shuttle" for three people when I could pay half that for a private taxi? Am I not reading these rates right? I'm so confused!!!

The shared shuttle for $16 is roundtrip.

$24 taxi is each way. That's only an estimate. It sounds cheap to me for that distance.

Shuttles are a cheap mode of transportation for the individual and sometimes a couple. If you have 3 or more travelers taxi is almost always a less expensive way to go.
