Which Hostess is the Mostest.. yummy that is! :teeth:

Good morning everyone! Bad english aside this morning it looks like it will be a pretty one in central VA. Hope it is nice out where you guys are too. :sunny:

Today's question is about that snack cake that has been around for years and I'm sure at one time or another in your school life, you had one of their products in your lunchbox - whether it was a Monkeys lunchbox or a New Kids on the Block lunchbox :) The question is..

"What is your favorite HOSTESS snack cake?"

Poll coming as soon as I remember all the different types.. hopefully before lunch! :lmao:

you don't have mine........all of the above. I love all of them and can't pick just one!!

When I was a kid I LOVED Hostess Yodels You could eat the choclate covering & if you were really good unroll the cake.
My brother loved Ring Dings which I hated so it worked out well. :thumbsup2

I was a Lucky Philadelphia girl who had the Tasty Cake Company in our area. They make the best snack cakes ever! My favorite is Choclate cupcakes with the buttercream frosting.

I went to a party in High School at the President of TC house.....when he was out of town. His son had an unauthorized party.......but thats another thread :)

Went with Ding Dongs on this one

but I really Love the peanut butter filled choclate ones
what are they called????

Funny bones I think

not sure if they even still make them......

I like the holiday cupcakes at Christmas, Valentines Day, and Easter.

Im really not a snake cake person. they always seem stale to me.

Empty calories - what's not to love?

Actually, when I've tried these as an adult (bought green snoballs for the kids and they didn't like them) I was disappointed.

I lived in New Jersey during my younger years.. I know all about the Tasty Cake love. At one point we had relatives ship them down here to us until they finally started selling them in VA!

I like the cupcakes, but only when they are very fresh. I also do enjoy a apple fruit pie on occasion.

Went with Ding Dongs!! Yummy! :teeth: I also love Suzy Q's and Sno Balls. ::yes::

Decisions, decisions...

I love them all! But I think I will have to go with the chocolate cupcakes. Snowballs are a very close second though. Ugh, now you've made me hungry.

It takes a while to eat a Chocodile! Those were the best Hostess, ever.

I voted for the Mini Muffins (if I had to pick one it would be banana nut).

As a kid, I would eat Twinkies everyday  ~ my friends and I would go into the local deli on the way home from school and get a Twinkie, a red pop and a pack of Big Red, LOL! Same thing, everyday ~ what were we thinking? :rolleyes1
I tried to eat a Twinkie recently and I just did not like it.

OK, were the Chocodiles the oblong chocolate cakes with chocolate filling and chocolate frosting? I haven't thought about those in years...OMGosh, they were soo good!! :thumbsup2

Snowballs! Yummy.

I still giggle when I say that - just like when I was in my early teens. :rotfl:

So many favorites, so little time. I still LOVE Blueberry Fruit Pies and look for them everywhere. I don't find them often, so when I do, I make sure to buy one!!!
